A video of the Henshin Hottie from Kamen Rider Den-O, Yuriko Shiratori on an offshoot from Young Gangan Magazine.

A scanned portion of a magazine which I translated depicting the death of Kamen Rider Decade, impaled by Kamen Rider Kivaara. This scene should appear in Kamen Rider Double & Decade Movie Taisen 2010.
I don't think Decade will die but, Kivaara will, since no female rider lives long yet in the history of Kamen Rider. And apologies for the untranslated text on the top part of the pic. The text is nearly unreadable for me.

Lots of scans from the upcoming Samurai Sentai Shinkenger vs Engine Sentai Go-onger team-up movie have been posted on Henshin Justice Forums, thanks to Gold Samurai. Check that out and see for yourself!

Take a closer look at the SH FiguArts figures from the anime Dragonball Z, Goku and Piccolo. SH FiguArts Piccolo have been released last November while SH FiguArts Goku will be released by January of next year.
The new magazine scan suggests some certain movesets or poses that you can do with your new SH FiguArts figures. Like this (although Goku is not SSJ in that scene):
Personally, I'll be getting both early next year along with Kamen Rider IXA and Sasword. SH FiguArts Kamen Rider Double will not be out until March 2010 so I can save more to get it.
Synopsis:
Sakurai plays the host of a live TV quiz program. On the show, contestants who achieve 7 correct answers win 10 million yen, and those who get 8 correct answers will have one of their wishes granted by the TV network. But while the questions start off innocently enough, as the game progresses, the questions gradually delve into the contestants' past crimes or indiscretions, presenting them with the dilemma of having to confess their guilt in order to win.
Sakurai's character also has a mysterious past. Before becoming the show's host, an accident had left him in a vegetative state for six years, which also resulted in him losing most of his memories.

The Quiz Show 2's story starts with an enigmatic show host; Kamiyama Satoru (Sakurai) who is guided by another mysterious man, the show's director; Honma Toshio (Yokoyama). The Quiz Show is just like your average game show, the host will ask the contestant 7 questions, if he or she manages to get 7 correct answers, the contestant will enter the "Dream Chance" round where if they get the answer right, they promise that the TV company will grant whatever wish they desire (which the TV company knows nothing about), be it a large amount money or even fame. The first few questions starts that are answerable by basic knowledge and common sense but as the game advances, the contestants are forced to answer questions regarding their misconducts and such.
The episodes are exciting and surprising like how MC Kamiyama throws occasional insults over the contestants and uncovers their secrets throughout an episode. As the whole series, the story is really well made, lot's of twists, turns and surprises. Episode by episode, the story unfolds and will leave the audiences guessing how things happened or how will it turn out. The theme song is quite nice too, no wonder the series won with the best theme song award.
Some nitpicks I could mention would be unrealistic parts like when MC Kamiyama fell on the stage writhing with headache, due to flashbacks countering his partial amnesia for a brief moment on several episodes while the camera is still rolling live. Live violence; The MC got slapped live. A live broadcast of attempted suicide. The TV company President or other higher ups from the company does nothing with the issue regarding the contestants' controversy or even the game show's platform and background etc... It could just be me or that would be Japanese entertainment for you.
Another thing would be repetitiveness. In the later part of the show, the questions are getting repetitive, audiences might notice that the answers to multiple questions are getting the same, the selection revolves around the show (in general), and almost always includes "Nitta Misaki" in the options. I know it's part of the story's development but the questions just gives a little constricted feel.
You can ignore the fact that I said more lengthy negative reflection around than its positive side, this JDrama is really good. If you can finish this series, you'll figure out how well the story is thought of. Overall, I'll give it a 4 over 5 score.

A "Gundam Tree" made of over 60 plastic models from the robot anime franchise will be erected in the Tokyo otaku shopping district of Akihabara on December 3. The tree, which will stand about five meters (about 16 feet) tall, will mark the release of the Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs. Gundam Next Plus action game (pictured at right) for the Sony PSP portable console on the same day. Mainichi Shimbun paper's website posted a mockup image of what the tree will look like. The tree will be illuminated in Gundam's signature colors of red, blue, and white. Tohru Furuya, the voice actor of the first Gundam anime's main character Amuro Ray, will man the switch to light the tree on December 3. The first 100 people who buy the PSP game can take a photograph with Furuya.
Furuya was among the special guests at the opening of the 18-meter-tall (59-foot-tall), life-size Gundam statue on Odaiba island in Tokyo Bay on July 10. According to the producer's estimations, over 4 million people visited the statue by the time it officially closed on August 30.

Watch out for Trigun: Badlands Rumble movie coming this April 24, 2010. The characters from the anime series return to the scene including the star, Vash the Stampede with Nicolas D. Wolfwood, Meryl Stryfe, and Milly Thompson.
The story is set in Makka, a town surrounded by quicksand. With rumors spreading that the legendary robber Gasback has his sights set on the town, the mayor Kepler has brought together bounty hunters to protect the town. These bounty hunters have been following Gasback from town to town in hopes of bagging the prize. Meryl and Milly have come to town to assess the situation as insurance agents, but are shocked by this turn of events. Moreover, Vash the Stampede is also in town, along with the female bounty hunter Ameria and the fan-favorite character Wolfwood.
Here's a longer trailer that was seen in the recent Anime Expo 2009.

Here's the official photo scan of Hyper Go-onRed, that will debut on Samurai Sentai Shinkenger vs Engine Sentai Go-onger team-up movie.
Go-onRed will indeed use Kyouryumaru to become Hyper Go-onRed. But since he's holding Mantan Gun Rod Mode, and doesn't hold Kyouryumaru, we didn't know what happened and how did ShinkenRed be able to transform to Super ShinkenRed. What I'm thinking is, maybe Ren (Go-onBlue) created a Special Engine Soul for Go-onRed to transform into that form.
This week's Music Video is Real Love sung by the all girl pop dance group, Paradise Go! Go!. It is the 1st ending theme of the anime, Zoids: Genesis.

This recent picture, from the movie scans, confirms the rumor that Kamen Rider Decade will use a Final Form Ride card, on Kamen Rider Double, in the Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider W & Decade Movie Taisen 2010. And the effect, nothing else but makes Phillip and Shoutaro separate from each other, thus making Kamen Rider Double, Double!
And their Final Attack Ride will be seen in the following scan, a Triple Rider Kick!

The first Dragonball Kai figure to come in the SH FiguArts toyline has come! Behold SH FiguArts Piccolo! It is now already available this November, which costs Y3500 or roughly $38. According to the Kamen Rider Double Movie scans, Philip will be the first one to use the Fang Memory to become Kamen Rider Double Fang Joker. It is now confirmed that the Fang Memory exist for the DoubleDriver so that it can be used by only one person to henshin.

But this news didn't take out the rumor about Philip (or maybe Shoutaro) dying anytime near episode 25, as said in our previous post. More news to come regarding this topic as December 8 goes near.

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of the Philippines signed into law the Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009 on Wednesday. Republic Act 9775 potentially bans both real and so-called "virtual" child pornography. It defines child pornography as "any representation, whether visual, audio, or written combination thereof, by electronic, mechanical, digital, optical, magnetic or any other means, or a child engaged or involved in real or simulated explicit sexual activities."
During the legislative debate on the bill, the authors highlighted what they described as "Japanese pornographic cartoon that depicts children in explicit sexual activity" and "hentai." The penalties can include reclusion perpetua (in effect, life imprisonment) and a fine of up to 5 million pesos (about US$100,000).
Source: Anime News Network
According to another article I saw:
"THE House joint committees on justice and welfare of children have approved a bill banning the pornographic cartoon, popularly known as hentai, and imposing penalties on those engaged in the production and sale of such materials."So this means even matured or people over 18 years old can't posses, or even watch, these kinds of shows? You're stupid. And there's even one news that goes like this:
“South Cotabato Representative Darlene R. Antonino-Custodio...said the Internet, which is used for gaining knowledge, is being used by some as a medium to satisfy sexual desire.”What? So this mean, internet will also be banned anytime soon?
According to Anime Vice's article about this topic:
"This is why I'm glad that in the US, any ban of media is strictly confined to be as limited as possible."In my honest opinion, they should've prioritized a law regarding more harsh penalties for those REAL child abusers. But I do understand what they are trying to do this time: They want these kinds of materials to go in hands of the minors. If its that so, they should've done more effort to prevent piracy all over the country. As long as there's piracy which makes them affordable, there's no end for this.
And I forgot! What about those sexy movies, or even sexy scenes on local TV? Don't they produce something that will give viewers sexual desire?
All I can say is, "not ALL hentai are child porn."

The trailer of the live action adaptation of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time has been available online.
Riisa Naka takes on the role of Akari, the daughter of Kazuko Yoshiyama (played by Narumi Yasuda), who was the heroine in the original novel and the first two films. Akari is going on to university, but after Kazuko falls unconscious due to a car accident, she leaps back in time to the 1970s and begins searching for her mother's first love.
The film is the feature-length debut of director Masaaki Taniguchi. Theatrical release has been scheduled for March 2010.
31-year-old actress Kyōko Hasegawa will star in a live-action drama adaptation of Norifusa Mita's Angel Bank: Dragon Zakura Gaiden workplace manga next year. As a loose sequel to the 2005 Dragon Zakura drama, Angel Bank Tenshoku Dairinin (Angel Bank, Occupational Change Agent) will premiere in January.Hasegawa will reprise her role of Mamako Ino, an English teacher at one of Japan's roughest schools, Ryūzan High School. After nine years of teaching, Ino decides to "reset" her life and meets with Yasuo Ebisawa (Gokusen and Trick's Katsuhisa Namase), a charismatic "occupational change agent" who advises people on switching jobs. However, Ebisawa ends up hiring Ino as an occupational change agent herself. Together with her work partner Ryōta Taguchi (Gegege no Kitaro, Brave Story's Eiji Wentz), Ino helps others switch gears in their livelihoods and transform the rest of their lives.
Mita launched his Angel Bank: Dragon Zakura Gaiden manga in Kodansha's Weekly Morning magazine in 2007, and the ninth compiled book volume will ship next month. The original Kodansha Manga Award-winning Dragon Zakura manga ran in the same magazine from 2003 to 2007, and 21 book volumes were published. The Dragon Zakura manga also inspired the 2005 live-action television drama in which Hasegawa first played the Ino character. This will be Hasegawa's first drama role after she gave birth to a boy in May.Source: Anime News Network

Like what happened to the previous team-up movie, Engine Sentai Go-onger vs Jyuken Sentai GekiRanger, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger vs Engine Sentai Go-onger will also be shown on theaters on January. It is said that in this movie, Hyper Go-onRed will make his debut, along side Super ShinkenRed.
Many fans are thinking that Sousuke (Go-onRed) will use KyouryuMaru to become Hyper Go-onRed. But if he will use that? What will Takeru (ShinkenRed) use to become Super ShinkenRed? I'm thinking that it might be a newer technology or arnament made by Ren (Go-onBlue) to battle a new league of enemies.
No other details about the movie have been revealed this time. We can surely get more news as he air date goes near.
And, I forgot to post this:

It's a Ganbaride Card that seems to be given to the people who are going to watch this movie. And... Kamen Rider Double is on that card. Will this mean that Kamen Rider Double will make an appearance on this movie?

A new form for Kamen Rider Double has been revealed. It will be called Fang Joker. The Fang Memory exist on a Memory Gadget that is shaped like a raptor, that will be inserted to the Double Driver. And it is rumored to possess an ice element, hence the color white. By default, the blade is located on the shoulder of Double and transfers to his arm during the finishing blow (or whenever it is needed).

It is rumored that Philip will die (became offline, due to that "family" keyword, I believe, but not confirmed) at episode 25 (or anywhere near that) and will left Shoutaro helpless, and unable to henshin. A certain person seems to gave him the Fang Memory and the Gadget so he can transform without Philip's help.
Kamen Rider Double Fang Joker is confirmed to take part and make its debut appearance on the Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider W & Decade Movie Taisen 2010 that is due on December 8, 2009.
The third promo for the Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider W & Decade Movie Taisen 2010.
It is revealed in this trailer that Double's movie will be Episode 0. It means based on this series' continuity, this happens before the start or the series. And Kamen Rider Double's Fang Joker form will be first shown. While on Decade's movie, Yuusuke sacrifices himself and become the devil (Kuuga Ultimate Form) to save Tsukasa. And the most awaited debut of Kamen Rider Kivaara.
Watch out for this movie on December 8, 2009.

This year's 18th issue of Kodansha' Bessatsu Friend magazine has announced on Friday that a television drama series based on Tomoko Hayakawa's The Wallflower (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge) manga and anime has been green-lit for a January premiere. The story follows four teenaged "pretty boys" who are invited to stay at a posh mansion, free of charge—provided they can transform the owner's standoffish, weird niece into a proper young lady. More details about the drama version will be published in future issues of Bessatsu Friend.
The manga has been running in Bessatsu Friend since 2000, and 24 compiled book volumes have been published so far. Del Rey will publish the 22nd volume in North America next January. The story has already been adapted into a 2006-2007 25-episode television anime series, which ADV Films released on DVD.

There are still no approved actors yet to portray each character's roles. I think we can hear more about this news early or in the middle of December.

A television anime adaptation of Bow Ditama's Kiss×sis romance manga has been green-lit for next spring. The story follows the "forbidden" love between a boy and his two stepsisters. The manga has already inspired three original anime DVD volumes that are bundled with the limited first editions of the third, fourth, and fifth manga volumes. (The fifth manga volume will ship in Japan on November 20.)
The manga has been running in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine since 2004, although it will move into the sibling publication Monthly Young Magazine in its debut issue on December 9. The new magazine was previously a bimonthly magazine called Bessatsu Young Magazine. In addition to creating Kiss×sis, Ditama created the Fight Ippatsu! Jūden-chan!! manga and anime, the Kibun Kibun manga and anime, and the art in the Mahoromatic manga.

This music video have been already subbed by Sour Apple Subs. If you want your own copy, grab it here. And for those people who want an original copy of their albums, you can get them here.

The plot of AVN: Aliens vs Ninjas:
Once upon a time in Japan, there was a band of great Ninja warriors led by Yamata called Iga Ninja. One day they witness a flash in the sky and a roaring giant ball of fire crashes into the distant forest. The warriors rush into the deep woods in an attempt to identify the mysterious fireball. There, instead of finding predictable enemies, they are stunned to face never-seen-before creatures with claws and fangs, the aliens! The hungry brutal aliens start to savage and feast on the Ninja warriors, leaving only a few to survive. Yamata and his warriors swear to avenge their comrades' deaths and risk their lives to challenge the aliens. However, none of the Ninja weapons, neither their swords nor their throwing stars, has any affect on the alien warriors. Now the Japanese greatest Iga Ninja face the biggest challenge ever!
This movie stars Masanori Mimoto, Shuji Kashiwabara, Donpei Tsuchihira, Mika Hiji, Yuki Ogoe and Ben Hiura. No approved release date yet for this movie.
It is kinda rare to see an alien monster on a movie flick (of course, outside the Kaiju genres). Maybe they felt that zombies are kinda overrated and overly used when it comes to gore movies.
Here's the upcoming Kamen Rider Climax Heroes W for the Nintendo Wii. The game will feature a slight upgrade from the previous Kamen Rider Climax Heroes game on the PS2. Since W is included in the title, Kamen Rider Double will be the new playable character. He can switch between different forms during the game.
During the Climax Mode of the game, players can go face-to-face with various kaijins or monsters from the Kamen Rider Series. Visible in the video are Magma and T-rex Dopant from Kamen Rider Double and Gelnewt from Kamen Rider Ryuki.
I'm just really thinking why they made it to the Nintendo Wii and not for the PS3? Maybe they are making some more changes to the game so once the game is FINALLY FINISHED (fans considered Climax Heroes as unfinished), it will be the time to go to Playstation 3. Just my views though.
The release date of this game is on December 2009 and costs about $65. If you like to have this game, you can pre-order you copy now.

This will be our first look on Kamen Rider Double's second rider, Kamen Rider Accel. His belt will be called AccelDriver which is shaped as a handle or steering of a motorcycle. No other information on this guy other than this. But my sources said that we will got a hi-res scans by next month and will debut on early January of next year.
Just stay tuned here for more news about him.
EDIT:
A scan from a catalog of Kamen Rider Accel's weapon have been revealed. And according to the info, it will be called Engine Blade and will be using the Engine Gaia Memory.

From the looks of it, it really looks like Final Fantasy VIII's Squall's Gunblade. And if I'm not mistaken, it's one of the best designed sword and gun weapon that have been used on the Kamen Rider series. The last one was Kamen Rider Decade's Ridebooker (which is meh...XP).
Kamen Rider Accel's accessories:

Accel's Beetle Phone which is similar to Double's Stag Phone.

Accel's Frog Pod which transforms from a Frog to a speaker. The Frog Memory can record and change your voice.
It is also said that Accel can transform himself to a motorcycle. Kinda like Decade using a Final Form Ride on him XD. Take a look at this:

And his Motorcycle Form can combine with a tank-like machine called Gunner Robo. It will be the called as Accel Gunner.

Have you ever wondered who are behind the subbed shows you are watching? And what kind of jobs they are doing to make a quality show and every fans happy and contented? Now is your chance to learn more about them.
Every job has it's own work and criteria. So if you want to join any fansub groups, you better know them (job descriptions are made by zeldAIS):
Timer - the art of timing the subs when the characters are saying or when (a) word(s) are displayed on screen. It is one of the most important backbone of fansubbing together with translations (you can't do other fields of fansubbing without this and translations at all). There are basically 2 kinds of Timers - pre-translation timer and post-translation timer. Pre-translation timers times the subs and leave blanks in them for the translator to fill in after (s)he finishes a video. The timer is not required to know the language being subbed. Post-translation timers times the subs after the translator have written the translated script. The timer, however, needs to know basic nihongo to be able to time the script correctly. With that said, we will be using Pre-Translation timing more.

Translator - one of the most important backbone of fansubbing together with timing. He/She translates all necessary things to be subbed in the video. It is also important that the translator must be fluent enough in both languages he/she is translating. Note: Translators are GODS. (merciful Gods if i might add)
Translation Checker - checks if the translations done by the translator is correct. Every good product will be made better if it has 2nd opinion
Spot Translator - a translator wherein there are spots where the main translator can't figure out how to translate it (This spot was prolly coined in the Drama fansubbing Community)
Editor - a position where it doesn't require fluency in the original language nor watching the raw video being subbed. Edits the subs and checks thoroughly punctuations, flow of words and especially grammar.

Typesetter - the artistic position of fansubbing. Choosing the exact fonts appropriate for the show and making them pretty to be released. The typesetter, however, must consider the main goal of the subs - the viewers understand the subs. So if the font used are too overkill and hard to read, it's better off you just watch softsubs Tongue The typesetter must remember that he is like making a best supporting character in typesetting the subs. A typesetter must be creative - as nobody can teach anyone to be creative. Also, in most of the shows we will be doing, knowing \t overrides - or effects in the subs themselves - is a big big plus.

Karaoke - combination of both timing and typesetting skills. A Karaoke can be either good or ugly. An overkill karaoke that has complicated effects but can't be read is a bad thing. It is also bad if the syllable timings are off. One must be very creative in using \t to make wow, but legible, effects.
Encoder - Hardsubs the softsubs done by the previous staff. Must know technical aspects of good encoding - considering both the balance of audio and video with file size limitation.
Quality Control - most of the subs here are almost the final product but everything from timing, simple translation, typesetting among others will be thoroughly checked by the QC'r. He/She must make sure that there are no more errors in the subs that will be released and will serve as the last line of defense.

Splash Maker - Makes the cool images that are inserted in the beginning of the releases. If you're good at Photoshop/GIMP/etc. and you like to make graphics, this is for you. Sometimes you'll be provided with images you can use so you won't have to hunt for them.
