To be able to transform to Accel Trial, Kamen Rider Accel needs to use the Trial Memory. The Trial Memory contains the memory of trial (challenges) which allows Accel to remove his heavy armors, making him into a lighter mode with sonic speed.

As a result, Accel loses his defensive and offensive ability (at least by half), while giving him speed far exceeds normal Accel. However, since Accel Trail has the ability to strike enemy with uncountable multiple attacks at the same time with astonishing speed, it appears that he has a greater destructive ability than his normal form. It can be said that it is a form that "dances like a butterfly, stings like a wasp". Accel Trail can only be in his Maximum Drive mode for 10 seconds, when Time Over, the transformation will be forcefully removed.
