The official website of Shogakukan's Monthly Flowers magazine has announced on Wednesday that a stage play adaptation of Yuu Watase's Fushigi Yuugi adventure romance manga and anime has been green-lit.
The Fushigi Yuugi stage play will run in Tokyo's Nakano The Pocket theater from October 20 to October 24. Jdrama actress Mao Miyaji (live-action Attack No. 1) will lead the cast a Miaka, the Priestess of Suzaku. ShintarÅ Sugano will be writing and directing the play.
The October issue of Monthly Flowers will provide more details on the play on August 27, followed by a feature in the November issue on September 28.
