As we have reported last month, the live action adaptation of the science fiction manga and anime GANTZ will have a US release and it will be a week earlier than it's Japan release. And now, a list of US theaters with the movie's screenings are revealed!

Viz Pictures' New People unit and Fathom Events have issued a list of American theaters that will screen GANTZ live action movie on January 20, 2011. Over 300 theaters are listed in 46 states; the four without screenings are Alaska, Mississippi, South Dakota, and Wyoming. The movie's American screenings will include an English-language over-dubbed track, followed by a live interview with lead stars Ninomiya Kazunari (Arashi) and Matsuyama Kenichi.

GANTZ live action movie tells the story of Kei Kurono and his friend Masaru Kato who die in a train accident and become part of a semi-posthumous "game" in which they and several other recently deceased people are forced to hunt down and kill aliens armed with a handful of futuristic items of equipment and weaponry.

GANTZ live action movie will be directed by Shinsuke Sato (The Princess Blade, Suna-dokei, Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror) and will be shown in two parts: the first part will open this January 29th, 2011, and the next part hitting screens later in the spring of 2011.
