With the latest Super Sentai VS movie, showing last January 22, Tensou Sentai Goseiger vs Shinkenger: Epic on the Silver Screen debuts at the 3rd spot of Japan Weekend Box Office.

Tensou Sentai Goseiger vs Shinkenger Synopsis:
An Ayakashi named Madakodama makes an appearance in the city and starts attacking, until Arata comes in and fights him as GoseiRed. However, his Tensou-jutsu had no effects on it. That's when ShinkenRed appeared. In order to cut open the Sanzu no Kawa, Madakodama retreated. How did the Gedoushu got revived?

Tensou Sentai Goseiger vs Shinkenger: Epic on the Silver Screen tops the other two opening movies on their first weekend namely The Green Hornet (#4) and Inu to Anata no Monogatari: Inu no Eiga (#9), and considered the top new comer for this week. The Super Sentai VS movie earned US$1,394,684 on 255 screens.

Other movies included in the top 10 are The Social Network (#1, 2nd), Boku to Tsuma no 1778 no Monogatari (#2, 2nd), Aibou: The Movie 2 (#5, 5th), Unstoppable (#6, 3rd), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (#7, 10th), Space Battleship Yamato (#8, 8th), and Inazuma Eleven: Saikyo Gundan Ogre Shurai (#10, 5th).
