GOLD SAMURAI RANGER REVEALED!

Its been months since Power Rangers Samurai aired in the US and a lot of fans wondered when we will see the team's sixth Ranger? Just recently, the latest episode guides of the said series has been released and it is revealed that the sixth Ranger, the Gold Samurai Ranger will be named Antonio (played by Steven Skyler)!

Originally named Wesley in the casting sheets, unlike his Super Sentai counterpart, Genta Umemori who is a sushi vendor, Antonio here is a traveling fisherman, a good way to explain ShinkenGold's fish motif.

Anyways, here is the episode guide which talks about this traveling fisherman that owns the Squid Folding Zord and the Claw Folding Zord.

11 - Unexpected Arrival (May 1, 2011)
A traveling fisherman named Antonio arrives and claims to be the sixth Samurai Ranger.

12 - Room For One More (May 8, 2011)
Jayden’s childhood friend and self-made Samurai Antonio struggles to be accepted by the team as the Gold Ranger.

13 - The Blue And The Gold (May 15, 2011)
As Antonio attempts to gain Kevin’s respect as a true Samurai, Octoroo devises a plan to create a stronger portal between the Netherworld and Earth via a secret ancient well.

14 - Team Support (TBA)
When a Nighlok steals people’s spirits, including the Yellow Ranger’s, the other Rangers must defeat him before his victims fall into an eternal sleep.

its nice to see that samurai could be original with this character at least, by how the actor looks he could be more serious than genta, but high chance he wont be better than one of my fave sixth sentai warriors

I somewhat hope that they don't completely change the comedic aspect of the Genta character in his Antonio port. While Bulk and Spike are a good outlet for humor, though it doesn't seem as funny as I remember Bulk and Skull being, the series can get really dark and dramatic (which is good), but Genta/Antonio seems like he'd be easier to give screentime to to help lighten the mood of certain episodes.

Anonymous2: i don't think there will be any clap of victory. i mean, even the gold ranger might have his own mega mode. that just mean everything happen in the cockpit is original...
