One of Japan's most popular anime thief, LUPIN III will yet again have its fourth anime series. A television ad announced on Friday that a new anime series has been green-lit to air this fall on the NTV network.
It's about a year and a half since the last Lupin III anime special, Lupin III: The Last Job, aired on tv which garnered a 17.6 rating in Tokyo's Kanto area when it aired in February of 2010. The subbed video can be found at Frostii's official site.
Since Monkey Punch launched the original manga in Manga Action magazine in 1967, the Lupin III franchise has spawned three television series, six theatrical films, and a string of two-hour television specials that began in 1989. One time, Lupin III faced a detective from another manga, Gosho Aoyama's Detective Conan.
