
Three new cast members for the highly anticipated Rurouni Kenshin live action movie had been confirmed. This includes Koji Kikkawa, famous as Kamen Rider Skull, will take the role of Jine Udo.
Jine Udo, commonly known as Kurogasa, is s guy obsessed with defeating the famous Hitokiri Battousai. In addition, Yosuke Eguchi as the former third-squad leader of the Shinsengumi, Hajime Saitō, and Teruyuki Kagawa as the cowardly opium dealer, Kanryū Takeda, are confirmed.
Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O, ROOKIES) and Emi Takei (Taira no Kiyomori, Aysuko Match!) leads the cast in playing the role of Kenshin Himura and Kaoru Kamiya. Keishi Otomo will be directing the film.
Warner Brothers Pictures Japan is producing with its president William Ireton, while Studio Swan (Paradise Kiss) is in charge of the actual film production. “Rurouni Kenshin” live action movie is slated for 2012 release.

I think Koji Kikkawa would be a good actor playing Jine Udo

WOW, Skull looks so young in that picture. Like in his late twenties maybe. In W, he always looks like he's 40 or 50.
I must say, I am surprised and strangely pleased with the casting choices!
Oyassan as Kurogasa implies that creepy awesome we sense from him. I only wonder if he can ham it up.
Eguchi as Saito - now that's a role reversal for the former actor for Sakamoto Ryoma, a loyalist (in NHK's Shinsengumi at least).
And Teruyuki Kagawa as evil cowardly Kanryu? WTH, that's not so different from the elder Iwasaki Yataro of Ryomaden now is it?! :D
