Finally, the full trailer for the upcoming “Gyakuten Saiban” (Ace Attorney) live action film starring Hiroki Narimiya have been revealed! The trailers have been available in the movie's official website.
Also starring in “Gyakuten Saiban” live action film are Takumi Saito, Mirei Kiritani, and Akiyoshi Nakao. Directed by Takeshi Miike, the movie will premier on February 11, 2012.
To retain the iconic elements of the video game series, special effects will be used to enhance the visuals in important scenes. This will retain the game’s catchphrases – such as "Igi ari! (Objection!)" and "Kurae! (Take that!)". The movie will even be set in a specially built courtroom to maintain the charm of the original games.

IGI ARI!!!!!!
Isn't it weird how when Japan makes a game adaptation, they're like "Hey, lets do as much as we can to make this like the game" while in America it's the exact opposite?
@1st Anonymous: They want to make it too damn realistic for it's own good while somehow managing to keep the elemnents.
I mean, remember super mario bros? from first view it was completely different from he game, but then you see it a bit more and holy crap, it has the elements, they are just so inverted that you can't tell! (especially if you saw dubbed versions like me >.>;)
I wish I could give another example, but I don't remember any.
