You read it right guys! The dream crossover movie will now be happening infront of our very eyes. Tentatively entitled “Superhero Taisen,” it will feature Kamen Rider Decade and Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger as the lead.
Apart from Decade and Gokaiger, it is stated that other characters will also appear, including 40 Kamen Riders (up through and including Fourze) and 200 Rangers (up through and including Gobusters).
Confirmed cast for “Superhero Taisen” includes Masahiro Inoue (Decade), Ryota Ozawa (Gokaired), Rina Akiyama (Naomi from Den-O), Kenjiro Ishimaru (Owner/Stationmaster from Den-O), and Momotaros. The director is confirmed to be Osamu Kaneda. Filming begins at the end of December 2011. The movie will hit theaters in early May 2012.
Producer Shirakura says, "In the year after the anniversary we're not going to power down but cross it.... We want to show things you can't see in the regular shows. This was pretty close to impossible but I'd like to make it the norm for our spring films. Rider is science, sentai is magic."

so is this movie going to be 4 hours? because i was wondering how can you fit 240 characters and more in 1 hour?
The tentative roster, according to the early reports, consists of roughly 240 Heroes, with around 200 Rangers (which will include the next Sentai team, Go-Busters) and 40 Riders.
Naturally, those won't be the exact numbers. If all the Rangers include the ones that were in the 199 Heroes movie as well the Go-Busters, that would be 202 Rangers (203 if you add in the possibility of having Ninjaman). Counting New Den-O, there's currently 29 main Riders from Rider 1 to Fourze.
203+29= 232 Heroes
That leaves 8 Heroes unaccounted. Perhaps the movie will include a few secondary Riders and the additional members of Go-Busters that will eventually be introduced.
I am guessing all the other rangers and riders will be glorified guest appearances towards the end of the movie. There is no way you can give all of them equal screen time and still expect to squeeze it into a 1.5 hour movie.
That said, I do hope the scriptwriters have learnt something. All-riders was a bit of a let down, and 40th anniversary outright stank. Enough of the gimmicks for gimmicks sake and give up a focused, solid script, please!

Presumably, if the quote is correct in assuming, the director sounds like he'd rather do this every spring then the Sentai movie and Rider movie seperatly. If that's true, then this movie could be done in a two parter, one half focused heavily on the riders, the other half focused heavily on the sentai. We'll have to wait and see.

All Gokaigers are in. It's just that Marvelous and Tsukasa are mentioned as the movie leads, so the focus might be on them.
I dont know why they didnt put fourze as the main co-protagonist of the movie instead of decade but since the film will be released on may and both gokaigers and decade will change into previous heroes so be it

Better odds of Decade getting a new card than a new Ranger Key being formed. He did after all have a Rekka Daizantou card in the Decade and Shinkenger crossover.

Decade is my favorite rider so I am glad he gets another movie. But the best battle I can think of is Kamen Rider x Super Sentai x Ultraman x Metal Hero x Ryukendo x Kikaider x Garo x Rescue Force x Rescue Fire x Gransaver x Justiriser x Saxer X: Henshin Hero Grand Battle. That would be one of the greatest movies I ever watch. The leads being the anniversary heroes Kamen Rider DCD (Decade), Gokaiger, Ultraman Mebius and the latest heroes Kamen Rider Fourze & Meteor, Gobuster, and Ultraman Zero.
I almost forgot the originals Kamen Rider Ichigo & Nigo, Gransaver, Goranger, Ultraman, Kikaider, Gavan, Garo, Ryukendo. Plus when I said Decade also add DiEnd. Finally am I the only one who wonders why VRV Master was never in the Legendary War.
