The Cyzo Woman blog reported that actor Jun Matsumoto (Hana Yori Dango, Gokusen) will lead star in the upcoming live action adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga by Hirohiko Araki.
The blog quotes an unnamed weekly magazine reporter with out extra corroboration.
Last August, Bungeishunju's Weekly Bunshun magazine reported that there will be an anime and live action JoJo's Bizarre Adventure film coming this 2012 starring a "super-popular idol." But publisher Shueisha extenuate the report and said, “We don't know where that story came from, but nothing has been decided at this time.”
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure centers around the Joestar family, and their battles against bizarre enemies. Jonathan Joestar's battle against the vampire Dio Brando starts it all, and it continues into roughly each second generation of Joestars through all parts of the story.
