Earlier today, the press conference for the upcoming 36th Super Sentai series, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters (特命戦隊ゴーバスターズ) was seen by Japanese fans. Along with it, brand new never-before-seen images had spread over the interwebs.
After becoming a guest star in two episodes of Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, gravure idol Risa Yoshiki will be a regular in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters as Rika Sakurada. Rika is the sister of RedBuster, Hiromu. On the right is Hiromu's father, Yousuke Sakurada, a scientist in Research Center 13 years ago.
As revealed yesterday, Go-Busters will have a three-man support group. It is composed of the operator Tooru Morishita, the commander Takeshi Kuroki and the newly recruited operator Miho Nakamura. Tooru works as the informant, keeping the Gobuster team updated on the Vaagras.
Above is a clearer image of Vaagras' Enter. Enter uses the MetaVirus Cards in creating MetaRoids by inserting the cards into a machinery, an evil Megazord is created at the very same time. Silhouetted in the right is Vaagras' leader, Messiah. The Vaagras army is now working on bringing back Messiah to earth.
You can also see above the ShovelRoid, its Megazord, the ShovelZord, and this year's grunts, the Buglers. On the other side, you can seen the Go-Busters, out of suit, in action!
To fight Vaagras' Megazords, the Go-Busters call on their own Megazord: the Go-Buster Ace! Go-Buster Ace is fueled by Enetron. With his finishing sword, the enemy will "SHUTDOWN." The sword has a GunSword mode where it can fire Enetron.
By inserting a program into their bodies, Hiromu and friends gained superhuman powers. But in exchange for these powers, they were given a secret weak point in return. When Hiromu sees a chicken, he’ll panic and his body will automatically freeze.
Ryuuji’s weakness occurs when he moves too much, which causes thermal runaway. Therefore, he needs to cool himself down constantly. Meanwhile, if Yoko’s energy runs out, she won’t be able to move. To make up for it, she has to eat sweet things.
Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters will premier on February 26th.

Could happen, but they've never established characters before having them become rangers/riders before. I don't see it happening now, though it would be a lot more interesting.

Think about how powerful Luffy is in One Piece. He would DESTROY any Sentai team that has ever existed, by himself. Hands down. Not to mention that it is just an incredibly uninspired idea. Just mashing tow franchises together, especially when they're not even in the same medium, doesn't make for a good show or idea. Not to mention you didn't even pair the series up correctly? If anything Gokaiger vs One Piece, Hurricanger vs Naruto, Kenshin vs Shinkenger. Even paired correctly it's just a boring idea that would never come to pass.
You did not have to be so mean. I have never seen luffy take down a world destroyer like the gokaiger and btw. Do you like the new hunter x hunter anime

They wouldn't even have time to use Gokai-Oh. Luffy would just wipe them all out with one punch. The fact that they have a mech is irrelevant. And duh I love HunterxHunter. But this isn't the time nor place to discuss anime.

Looks like Shovelroid & Shovelzord are two entirely different costumes. If that's the case for all the Metaroids & Megazords, then I'm expecting Go-Busters to follow Kamen Rider in being all 2-parters. I just can't imagine them having a big enough budget to make two brand-new monster suits for every episode.

Enter is giving me an INCREDIBLY strong AbareKiller/DragonRanger/etc. vibe. I feel like he's going to be their enemy for a while and then wind up being the sixth/extra Buster.
The chicken-fear thing sounds strange, but interesting at the same time. I wonder How it'll work out. As for the other fears.

If all the power ranger references are true...then it's possible that they decide to actually have the other rangers be people already introduced. While sentai doesn't do it, power rangers do it all the time. If anything, it's fairly rare to not have the six ranger be someone who wasn't on the show before. So if they are using megazord or morphing time, it's possible they may use story ideas too. RPM, Jungle Fury, Dino Thunder, Time Force and Ninja Storm all introduced other rangers in the show before they were rangers.
And it's happened a few times for villains in sentai. Villain becomes a hero and joins the team.
I like how people are attacking Ping because he dislikes fairytails's idea. Isn't his own opinion that he doesn't like it? Isn't he free to state his opinion without being a bad guy? Opinions aren't always positive, if you're going to share an idea expect criticism. A few of those pairings might be interesting, but it's just the... difference in exaggeration of power that would just make it predictable to watch. But then again, it can be like a Batman vs Superman thing (spoiler: Batman wins).
I agree with the fella that said Enter might become a Buster, might have something to do with Messiah disowning him maybe? No organics allowed in his club house! I'm excited for this series, and I cannot wait to see how they put Red-Buster into weird chicken situations!

I realised that they all were like Go-Onger...
Got a Gekiranger feel to it, mainly because of there being 3 at first, a human villain like character, and the unique designs. I love Gekiranger, so this may be really good.

People can still express their negative opinions without being assholes. I also find the idea uninspiring but you don't see me calling fairytails an idiot or calling his mother a whore. Internet warriors are the worst.

Fun Fact: The Belt buckles for Go-Onger and GoBusters are exactly the same. The Gobuster logo is even derived from the Go-Onger logo. That's an idea of some of the elements of the show.

its a good idea, but i dont it would be possible, anime characters are way exaggerated in terms of power compared to live action sentais... but keep it up, its no bad to have a creative mind.

we have our own different ideas, good or bad, it doesn't matter, we all have a right to express it. what's important is we are all toku/sentai fans, we're all in the same boat, so lets not push someone overboard just because their ideas are contradicting to others...
