Gon Manga Inspires Nintendo 3DS Game

Gon: Baku Baku Baku Baku Adventure
Bandai Namco Games had announced that they will be releasing a new Nintendo 3DS game Gon: Baku Baku Baku Baku Adventure this June. It will based on the upcoming Gon CGI anime series.

GonGon: Baku Baku Baku Baku Adventure will be available starting June 14th for 5,040 yen (about US$60). In-game screenshots can be site on the official website.

In the scheduled 50-episode Gon CG anime, Motoko Kumai (Card Captor Sakura's Shaoran Li) will do the voice of Gon, and Kenyuu Horiuchi (Suite Precure's Mephisto) and Yuji Mitsuya (Saint Seiya's Virgo Shaka) as the voices of the his trusted friends.

The Korean-Japanese co-production will be directed, designed, and animated in Korea, with Director Kim Gil-Tae and Character Designer Noh Hyun-Min working with Daewon Media. Daewon Media and Kodansha are both listed as producers for the series.

Masashi Tanaka's “Gon” manga series features the completely wordless adventures of the orange dinosaur, as he interacts with the natural world. He somehow survived the extinction of his fellow dinosaurs and interacts with paleolithic animals.

“Gon” will air on TV Tokyo at 6:00 p.m., staring this April 2nd.
