Market research firm Oricon had posted their latest manga sales ranking chart for the week of March 19th to 25th. This revealed that the latest volume of the pirate adventure manga, One Piece Volume 65: “To Zero” had sold over 3 million copies!
The 65th volume of One Piece had sold 32,339 copies this past week to make a total of 3,005,287 copies sold! They achieved this in just less than 2 months after it was released last February.
Although the previous volumes are selling over 3 million copies, this is the first time this had happened. No manga volume has sold this many copies this fast since Oricon began posting its sales ranking charts in April of 2008.

Recently reaching 200,000,000 copies of manga volumes sold, One Piece is one of the most popular and well-loved manga not only in Japan but also in international markets including the United States.
