Stop trying to coast off of nostalgia. This is why Samurai sucks. Leave the memories alone.

Great, now Saban is talking about blu-ray so what next? No Power Rangers 2012?? A Kamen Rider Adaptation from Saban?? WtF i keep wondering when will they stop the production of sentai to power rangers.I know why the reason is : bandai japan don't want their toys to ran out (to ship to other country - demand from other country) so they created bandai america and power rangers to not ran out of toys. That's why you see alot of goodies from bandai japan and alot of crap from bandai america. They both have conflict of who started bandai first (obviously japan) but when saban created kamen rider dragon knight (adaptation from kamen rider ryuki) america was like WTF this is shit good!! But when it comes to the toys :\ we are like WtF this is shit crap!!

Saban did not make Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. That's why is was so good.

  4. juice Says:

saban did an adaptation of kamen rider black rx, remember dex and his buddy furgus, an alien that looks like a cross between an ewok and a duck...

Wait, so is it gonna be like a giant package with like, billions of CDs?

I'd like to think that through Power Rangers, Saban introduced a lot of people to the world of Super Sentai. It's safe to assume that a lot of fans sought out the original source material after watching Power Rangers at some point. If there was one thing I really hated, it was Saban's Masked Rider (his dreadful treatment of Kamen Rider Black RX, ZO, and J).

  7. True to last anonymous. I would know nothing about Super Sentai if it wasn't "the Japanese show Power Rangers came from". I also like Power Rangers by itself, so this is awesome news. :D :) Can't wait. :) I'm personally hoping for Blu-Rays of the shows, but something is better than nothing. :D

  8. Dude, if you don't like this, maybe it's time to move on to another fandom. Just saying.

  9. Kelleth Says:

    Awesome! :D

Saban, please release Samurai Pizza Cats dvd's and save us fans from Disney. plz T_T

  10. Anonymous Says:

Please, Add Masked Rider To the Collection with pizza cats.

This is a dream that is real. Even if it is 400 bucks, I'll save up (hopefully no more than $250). And I am very glad that Beetleborgs are added.

  12. Anonymous Says:

Please Also add Digimon Season 1-5,W.I.T.C.H.,Shinzo and Mon Collie Knights dvd's and save us fans from Disney. plz T_T

  13. @anon2 we just finished a sentai FULL of nostalgia (gokaiger) STOP BEING A HATER!!!

  14. Daniel Says:

All go back and Merge with Disney including you Haim, together you guys will be better than ever!

  15. Vicserr Says:

Anon: I think W.I.T.C.H is a full Disney property and Saban only rescued PR fron Disney so the rest is on the Disney Vault... I wouldn't mind seen a release of the Battletech animated series.

Kagaku Sentai Dynaman 1988 introduced a lot of people to the world of Super Sentai

    power ranger kill super sentai

.Six episodes of the series were shown in the United States on the USA Network's Night Flight

  17. Anonymous Says:

they forgot to mention 40 episode masked rider

  18. arale norimaki Says:

    Adness Entertainment

Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (2009) was an adaptation of Toei's Kamen Rider Ryuki In the early licensing information for the series, there were plans for a feature-length movie for the show. In an interview, Steve Wang stated that they had written a story for a film, but Adness was raising money to bring over another Heisei Kamen Rider for broadcast in the US someday, rather than a film or a second season of Dragon Knight

  19. arale norimaki Says:

Gatchaman helped establish the convention of the five member hero team that has been emulated in later series, most notably the successful tokusatsu Super Sentai franchise (which was adapted into English as the Power Rangers franchise many years later); in fact, the Sentai series Chōjin Sentai Jetman was in many ways an homage to Gatchaman

power ranger sucks it almost kill super sentai for me.

  20. @ arale norimaki
Lol then why are you posting in an article about Power Rangers. There's a lot of articles I don't like, so I don't read them. Maybe you should do the same.

  21. Daniel Says:

Disney Buy Power Rangers And Merge Saban! Better than ever last time Forever! :>

  22. Anonymous Says:

Everyone hating on power rangers shut the fuck up. I'm sure people would rather see people actual acting instead of Japanese people being dubbed. Also power rangers has made very good seasons. Some were even better than the sentai seasons. So stfu and go somewhere else.

  23. Anonymous Says:

Saban's Power Rangers Super Sumarai is a good deal introducing new forms that Toei never ever released.Go-busters is also a nice show, spies and things like that.In my opinion,Saban and Toei make a good bad@$$ team,so there's nothing to worry about. And anyways,Saban+Toei=Total Awesome Epicness!XD Those of u who r haters go fuck urself and stop spamming the goddamn chatwall .Why?Because ur all big motherfuckers.STFU and go away if u hate this post.I dont see any point for u to steer the Power Rangers fans to Super Sentai.

    Ultraman Exliar

To all of you guys talking shit to each other on Power Rangers since this article was made, and this SS/PR bandwagon war you've got going on here, do us all a favor and just shut the fuck up, will you?

I love both series without question, but this is pitiful about how you're acting on this.

Childish idiots, grow the fuck up.

  25. Anonymous Says:

This is awesome news, but I don't understand why everyone keeps referring to Saban saving franchises from Disney. Disney turned out some good material. RPM was probably the best written and produced season ever. Have you seen Samurai?! It's crap. Not everything Saban touches turns to gold.

  26. Anonymous Says:

Super Sentai and Power Rangers both kick ass! All you snobby fanboys need to shut the fuck up.

  27. Scott Says:

Bravo everyone. With all the childish insults and unnecessary swearing, we're all losers now. Good job!!!

Anyway back on topic, not sure if I would buy any of the old Power Ranger episodes. Yeah they were fun to watch back in the day, but I'm not sure if I'd enjoy that much now. But it's good to see that option is there now if I ever choose to.

  28. Anonymous Says:

No, you're only half right. Saban didn't make it, but it was pretty fucking awful all on its own.

  29. Anonymous Says:

The only reason I care is because of RPM. Take my money, Saban, but just this once.

  30. Anonymous Says:

Why do people like power rangers. I don't see what it offers. No offense but it is like watching barney

  31. Anonymous Says:

That's a real fail attempt at trolling...

  32. Anonymous Says:

how much will it cost and are they also selling copies here in the Philippines??

  33. I need a job now!!!!! I want this so muchh!!!

  34. Anonymous Says:

You guys would be wasting your money on the crap that the Power Rangers TV series really has had been if you really want to buy the blu-rays and/or DVDs of such. Yes, of course, they would be very cheap, compared to those of the Super Sentai TV series, the show that both Haim Saban and Disney partially have had copied off the contents and taken the props from as well as butchered to create the NUMBER ONE SHIT show, the Power Rangers. In other words, this has had been one of their shams and scams to make quick bucks off of the unsuspecting and/or unintelligent viewers like you (I mean the die-hard fans of the Power Rangers). Power Rangers is basically a bastardization of the Super Sentai based on what was just said, and if you've bought the blu-rays and/or DVDs of that show, then you deserve the garbage that you've got (and I’m afraid some of you might’ve regretted)!

  35. Anonymous Says:

Stop hateing cause obviously you don't know good kid friendly programming

  36. Anonymous Says:

You Power Rangers fans just can't seem to distinguish the differences between what are the good kids-friendly shows and what aren't. The show that you guys are espousing has never been a good one to begin with, considering that it is created through plagiarism of Super Sentai series. There are just way too many plot inconsistencies in the storyline of each installment of the Power Rangers series, which really makes the show irritably stupid overall. You are basically fooling yourselves by thinking otherwise! If I were you, I'd rather watch Super Sentai instead of this trash that you love so much!
