
Namco Bandai Games had announced the original characters for the upcoming strategy role-playing game “Project × Zone” for the Nintendo 3DS. Kogoro Tenzai and Mii Kouryuji joins the fight with other Namco Bandai, Capcom and Sega characters.
Kogoro Tenzai is a detective who is a descendent from a ninja clan, and a master of ninjutsu. Armed with a Nyoraitou which connects to another blade, he now takes on assignments as a "ninja-for-hire." He also has concealed wire blades attached to his feet.
Mii Kouryuji is a high school student which have a hot temper and a bit of a selfish personality. From a young age, she trained with a monk. She carries the rifle "Dragon Jewel," the sawed-off pistol "Purple Pot," and the "Tiger Heals" guns in her boot heels.
New characters joining the roster of Project × Zone are Arthur (Ghosts and Goblins), Devilotte de Deathsatan IX (Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness), Imca (Valkyria Chronicles III), Rikiya Busujima (Zombie Revenge) and Flynn Scifo (Tales of Vesperia).

Furthermore, Namco Bandai Games also announced the contents of the limited edition first press bonus for Project × Zone. It includes a 48-page full color booklet introducing all the various games, complete with promotion illustrations, artwork and more, and the "Crossover Soundtrack CD" with game music from Project X Zone.
“Project × Zone” features the characters from the three game makers into a one big Nintendo 3DS strategy RPG. The characters, team up in pairs for fighting scenes, but pairings are not limited to a common series.
More characters are said to be announced, including hidden characters, as well as a new trailer. Project × Zone comes out on October 11th.

Why isn't sonic in this game? Next person who says its because he'd be boring.... as opposed to the three hundred 'karate' guys featured in the game.
maybe one of the other companies had more power then SEGA and they probably did want him in it, would be cool if they put Sonic, Klonoa, and Megaman from the battle network series
You never know...
They could flip the script and bring in a "never in a lifetime" wildcard from Sega like G from the HOTD series.
Segata Sanshiro should b in this shit, best Sega character with the tightest theme song.
