The official website for the Blue Exorcist anime film had revealed that the upcoming movie will open on Japanese theaters on December 28th. The film will be distributed by TOHO.
30,000 advance tickets will go on sale on August 25 with a set of three postcards.
Blue Exorcist follows the story of Rin Okumura, the son of Satan, the strongest of all demons. Witnessing Shiro dying to protect him, he managed to draw the demon-slaying blade Kurikara. From there on, Rin gains permanent demonic features and the power to ignite himself into blue flames.
