So now the rumors of Gavan appearing in Gobusters, are a reality at long last!
I did not see that coming, not like that's a bad thing. I wonder if Power Rangers will adapt this or not.
This still keeps making me wonder if they're gonna try and re-launch metal hero at some point, they seem to really be pushign them, with the gokai/gavan movie, the gavan movie, and now the appearance in go-busters. But maybe they're just trying to make a quick buck wit the reboot movie. But who knows, the KR and SS movies have been doing well, so alot of people could end up going the gavan movie and maybe then they'll try and do something else with metal hero. I'm dying for a 3rd toku after all these other great strange toku's like garo, daimajin kanon, keitai sousakan 7 and akibaranger.
They're really going all out for the ratings, huh? xD
^doenst seem that much like a grab for rating considering we heard this rumor when gokaiger was airing.
does anyone know where i can watch some gavan
wow toei is REALLY desperate for ratings.
^ It has absolutely NOTHING to do with the ratings for Go-Busters!
Yeah its obviously to further Gavan's 30th anniversary.
Just type g is appearing right?
@Zyurangerfans1983 - Speak for yourself. Go-Busters' ratings among its core demographic is shit. The lowest Sentai has had in years
No one's denying that Go-Busters has has low ratings, but correlation does not imply causality.
Gavan may be OG, but he's also been off the air for decades, I'm willing to bet most Japanese kids had never even heard of the Space Sheriffs before Gokaiger vs. Gavan. Even for the older fans, this particular Gavan is a whole new character, and these episodes will be his very first appearance anywhere.
The way I see it, Gavan needs the exposure MUCH more than the Go-busters need a ratings boost.
gobuster episode 27

What's disappointing is how the rumor finally come into realization after almost halfway of the show *sigh*... so eventhough it's a great move, it still falls flat with all the rating issue Go-Buster is currently having, and of course many people would start relating the two (though in reality, we will never know if it's actually the main reason or not). Well, hope it will do good to both franchise then ;)
whoops wrong word there...
I meant "after already halfway of the show"
@ mrxdgrafiti
old gavan or the new gavan?
@muzae any gavan or metal hero series ill take what i can get at the moment
I don't mind if Toei wanted to relaunch Metal Hero back, as long as they doesn't give the Sentai and Rider influence heavily (where they think it's a new 'idea' to make the series mainly for kids) .
