Well. That turned out a lot better than I expected. Good enough to melt the brains of of the usual tards we get around here, at least. Next thing you'll be telling us they're from an Ancient Earth that somehow existed beside Dino Earth.

I'm so tired of phone morphers... We get it, most japanese kids have cell phones now, big deal. Did not enough kids buy the morphin brace?

OK, better voice my opinion.

First off, the positives. If this rumour turns out to be true, I will be thoroughly surprised with the choice of animals. When I heard that it was gonna be another dinosaur theme, I just rolled my eyes. But seeing the choices of the animals, I think it would be pretty cool. Not to mention that they are using some animals that haven't been used in Sentai yet, and I'm always for that.

However...the negatives. A smartphone henshin device? REALLY? I got tired of it back in Shinkenger, and still am now: phones as henshin devices are HORRIBLE.
Next, the colours. Now, I like the typical Red/Blue/Green/Yellow/Pink combo, but I want them to change it up a bit more, like how they did in Magiranger. And why do they use it again here? I would much rather prefer something like a Red/Blue/Black/Yellow/White combo, which we haven't seen since Abaranger.

Anniversary Sentai --> experimental Sentai --> Comedy Sentai

It seems in the cards, but I really don't want to see cellphones again after being used so much; in other words, a wrist morpher or something that would allow for a real-time transformation.
Another thing would be more leather/pleather suits; I really want to see more diversified suit design not using spandex.

Okay, but if their mecha are going to be mammals, then why are they called "kyoryuger" ("Kyoryu" = "dinosaur," + ranger)?

Seems as fake as can be to me. Animals too odd for a sentai.

good thing for a new upcoming sentai, I'd prefer to have a Mechzords that can fuse as an armament like gaoranger. And a unique armor for RedRanger "LIKE battlelizer"

I'm hoping these rumors aren't true at all. I really want to see another Dinosaur type sentai to possibly improve on the last 2. Plus, it wouldn't make much sense seeing as they're calling them "Kyoryuger". Kyoryu being Dinosaur. As, for the smartphone morphers... Let that be Shinkenger's problem. Keep it Dinosaur based please with an ORIGINAL decent morpher.

With a name like that, it seems rather odd that just one of them counts as a Dinosaur, while the rest are mammals.

As for a non-Dinosaur Prehistoic Sentai, how about Synapsids? Red Dimetrodon, Blue Gorgonops, Yellow Estemmenosuchus, Green Lystrosaurus, Pink Edaphosaurus, Gold Moshops.

The henshin devices are not called morphers and the robots are called mecha.

Here comes another Sentai purist arguing semantics.

I'd be cool with a dinosaur theme if it used ACTUAL dinosaurs. In Zyuranger, the only ones there that were ACTUAL dinosaurs were the Tyrannosaurus and the Triceratops. Same with Abaranger, though they added the Brachiosaurid as well, which Zyu had as a support mecha but that's it. Seriously, has Toei been TRYING to undo what kids learn in school?

Jyuden GigaKong - body & thighs

Jyuden Andrewsarchus - leg

yuden Ootsunojika - leg

Jyuden Shisochou - arms with horns straightening to become pair of swords

Jyuden Glyptodon - head and either back, chest, or shoulders

@KHopper: Actually King Brachion also counts for Zyuranger since he is a Brachiosaurus. dRagon Caesar halfway counts due to being based on Godzilla, who is a mutant Dinosaur.

In Abaranger everyone was a Dinosaur but Ptera, Top Galer and Dimenokodon.

But sticking them in is not really Toei's fault, it is the fault of general pop culture.

I'm gonna say shenanigans on this rumor.Usually when the first base rumor came out it turn out to be untrue and far from the original topic (in this case ancient animals) so i'm not gonna say much about this rumor.It's cool but it does sounds fan-made and they won't repeat doing a sentai series with animals but the next series also includes animals.In my opinion it's kinda dumb on how TOEI actually did that.I guess the next series will be revolve around more human like theme.

The last time a phone should have been used is Boukenger. After that I don't see the purpose. But I glad to see an Archeopteryx some where in sentai dinos.

It's a fresh idea, and kids can even learn more that there are more than just dinosaurs in the prehistoric era through this show...

However, I really don't trust this rumor... especially when it pops up such early like this.

First off if this is true, i don't get why people are complaining about the name. I mean get real... Sentai season names make no sense nowadays. Go-busters, Gokaiger, Goseiger... Their more related to their catchphrases with "Ready! GO!" for go busters, "Gokai-Change" for Gokaiger. etc. so the name doesn't disturb me as much since naming never made much sense in recent sentai years anyways. Secondly, about the smartphones, i don't think any sentai season has actually really used a smartphone besides a flip up phone. So i don't see a big issue in that. Phone based morphers may seem corny and overused but thats what gives them most profit, so their going for that which makes total sense since their after all going for the profit.

KYORYU means Fearful Dragon. That is Dinosaur, not Ancient Beast. So no, out of these mentioned, only Yellow has a Dinosaur.

Interesting if this rumour to be true that means this is the first time the Pink Ranger got um... well "unfeminine" look animal as her mecha/theme LOL. Maybe we will get a tomboy Pink and girly Yellow for next year

If you ask me, I'd love to have this series to be the first one since Magiranger to feature a Male Yellow Ranger, and the first since gaoranger to have only one female
