The early morning Fuji-TV program showed a new teaser video for the upcoming “One Piece Film Z”. This features new scenes involving the Straw Hats, and the battle between Luffy and Former-Marine Admiral, Z.
Z is a human with cyborg enhancements and unreal power! The battle will be set after the events on the Fishman Island Arc. This will be the first movie taking place in the New World part of the Grand Line.
Furthermore, new scans (and figures) have revealed that the Straw Hats will have another set of outfits for the film. It is said that they will be wearing this in the beginning of the movie.
Osamu Suzuki (Jungle Emperor Leo, Love*Com the Movie) will serve as the script writer, and Tatsuya Nagamine (One Piece: The Desert Princess and the Pirates: Adventure in Alabasta) will be the director. Yasutaka Nakata (Five Numbers!, capsule) is performing the theme song.
The film opens on Japanese theaters this December 15th.
