Although the D-Arts toy line started out with highly articulated Digimon releases, it didn't stop Bandai from releasing a figure from its rival show, Pokemon. Coming this March 2013 is D-Arts Mewtwo!
D-Arts Mewtwo comes with effect parts, and a limited edition custom Tamashii Stage. Also seen in the image is Mew, so it's highly possible that it will be included in this release.
Mewtwo first appeared in the video games Pokémon Red and Blue. It is also featured in the 1999 animated film Pokémon: The First Movie as the main antagonist. I might be wrong on this, but this release might be the first highly articulated Pokemon figure ever to be released.
D-Arts Mewtwo costs 3800 yen, and slated for March 2013 release.

Mewtwo
pokemon!
A Mewtwo figure eh? How unexpected and exciting.
I wish it came with his armor from the first movie. That'd be awesome.
Shut up and take my money!
