As reported last month, Japanese rock band FLOW will be covering the song “CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA”, for the upcoming 2013 film, “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods”. And finally, here's a clear preview of it.
This was recorded from a New Year presentation of Tokyo FM
The original version was sung by Hironobu Kageyama, and was featured on the first 199 episodes of Dragon Ball Z in 1989.
Taking place during the manga's "lost decade", “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods” premieres March 30th, 2013.

Hmmm, ok. Timely rendition for this generation. Kageyama's powerful voice and original rendition is still unbeatable though.
well flow ver. is fine but still it would be better if either Kageyama or the JAM Project sang it!
The vocal's nice and all but for me it's still Kageyama>Padilla>FLOW
Hmm... I really like FLOW, but I guess I will have to train myself, get used to it to start liking this song... Seriously, they even used autotunes, this is a really contra, negative point of the song... I think...
I would say that at least for know I prefer Konata's (Luck Star) version than FLOW's... XD
