It has been revealed that Focus Films will be distributing the DVD and Blu-Ray of live-action film adaptation of Nobuhiro Watsuki's Rurouni Kenshin manga and anime in Brazil sometime this first half of 2013.
The release will be re-entitled as “Samurai X”. So far, actual release date is yet to be announced. Focus Films is a company well known for supporting Japanese movies and drama series.
Japan had released the film last December 24th, which contain Japanese subtitles and other extras. Although screened in various countries with English subtitles, the release doesn't include one.
The Rurouni Kenshin live action film debuted at the top of Japan Box Office when it premiered in Japan on August 25th. It also has been seen in theaters more than 2 million times, earning over $36.7 million in Japan, more than $25 million internationally!

Yes they support old japanese super heroes shows like Changeman , Juspion, Jiraiya, Flashman, Jiban but they release shitty DVDs, poor video image, dubbed audio from VHS's bootlegs recorded in the 80's.
So don't expect too much from this release...
And, for my hatred sake as brazilian, this company make horrible errors in subs too, I feel like they release the set of dvds without the proper review of the authoring staff...
