The 2-minute "Hitsuzen" (Inevitability) full promo for the live action adaptation of CLAMP's supernatural manga “xxxHolic”. The series is set to premiere on February 24th at WOWOW Prime.
Led by model and actress Anne (Taira no Kiyomori, Yokai Ningen Bem) as the the witch Yuuko Ichihara, and Shota Sometani (Tsumi to Batsu: A Falsified Romance, Koishite Akuma) as the disturbed high-school student Kimihiro Watanuki, “xxxHolic” is scheduled for eight 50-minute episodes.
Watanuki requests to have his ability to see spirits removed and, as payment, Yuuko hires him to work in the shop, resulting in various supernatural encounters. xxxHolic (read as "holic") links with the other manga CLAMP made, especially Tsubasa Chronicles.
Keisuke Toyoshima is directing off scripts by Jun Tsugita, and singer/songwriter Shikao Suga is performing the theme song after have done so for the earlier xxxHOLiC anime projects.
