Metal Hero Revival in Super Hero Taisen Z! [Updated]

A new image for this year's crossover film, “Kamen Rider × Super Sentai × Space Sheriff: Super Hero Taisen Z” confirms the appearance of some Metal Heroes, taking part on the war. Six more Metal Heroes join the three Space Sheriffs to regain their shining glory!

Appearing in the film are Janperson, Jiraiya, Jiban, DraftRedder (from Exceedraft), BlueBeet (from Juukou B-Fighter), and Kabuto (from B-Fighter Kabuto). No additional information had been revealed at this point.

Also seen fighting with KyoryuRed and Kamen Rider Wizard is the Strategist Reider, who will try to resurrect Kyodain. The character originally appeared at the 2nd half of Space Sheriff Sharivan, intending to kill the titular character through Psychological Warfare.

Space Sheriff Gavan -typeG- vs Space IkaDevil

The above image shows Kamen Riders Hibiki, Amazon and Beast, with Liveman and Gingaman fighting against the Space Shocker's kaijins and combatants. Also seen in the small boxes are match-ups between Gavan and Kamen Rider Wizard; the Space Ironmen siblings against Gavan; and, Kamen Rider Fourze and Inazuman's team-up.

Calling themselves Space Shocker, the evil organization returns with the power of magic, claiming that they want to destroy the universe. Kamen Rider Wizard, Space Sheriff Gavan, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters and eventually Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger join the fight against the evil organization. All your favorite heroes will be back, turning despair into hope, in an all new, and never seen before hero epic!

Directed by Osamu Kaneda (kamen Rider Fourze) with screenplay by Shoji Yonemura (KR Kabuto, Smile! Precure) , and produced by Shinichiro Shirakura, “Kamen Rider × Super Sentai × Space Sheriff: Super Hero Taisen Z” premieres this April 27th.

  2. Inferno_Angel Says:

    Wow...
I hope this movie will be better than Fourze Movie (Everybody it's Space Time) & earlier Super Hero Taisen.

  3. Anonymous Says:

Kabuto, eh? I'd like to see him fight KR Kabuto head on.

    (ZELTRAX-MILLENIUM)

    HOLY MAMA!

I see Jiraiya, JanPerson, Blue Beet, and B-Fighter Kabuto.

When I saw those suits, I screamed out-loud that the Metal Heroes are FREAKING BACK!

I cannot wait for this movie. I would LOVE to see the B-Fighter suits get AT LEAST a fight scene or 2.

    wow! more Metal Heroes!
so, can we expect that Juspion, Spielban, Winspector, and Metaldar wll join the team in the future?

  6. Stardust Says:

    Space Ironmen siblings?

    I thought Fourze destroyed them?

  7. Byakujin Says:

@stardust.. of course.. villains keep coming back, right? it's the different movie, i guess it won't count.. just like the rest of the villains, they were all dead in the previous movies and even in the series, weren't they?

  8. Anonymous Says:

I can't tell but maybe it's Narutaki in disguise again.

  9. Awesome on the Metal Heroes. Hopefully they all come back, but I can understand if not, since the suits might need to be remade. Still great news. :)

  10. While it's awesome that we're getting all of these awesome cameos and what not I get the odd feeling this movie is going to be worse then Super Hero Taisen... It seems the plot is going to be all over the place to squeeze all of these characters into this movie let alone to fit them into the giant clusterf*** of a fight scene at the end.
Ugh =\ Always a lot more bad to balance out the little bit of good everytime they reveal something new about this movie.

How about Solbrain, Blue SWAT, Kabutack, & Robotack?

  12. Judging that Kadena is a douchebag, a got a feeling that the Metal Heroes will end up like the Ishinomori Heroes in Let's Go Kamen Riders.

It's just that Kadena tends to feature the major stuff in scans, only for it to have a minute or two in the actual movie. For example, the TaMaShii Combo & OOO Gokai Change.

i need blue beet and kabuto vinyl figs do it bandai but anyway will machineman and kabutack return aswell

  14. Jiban and Jiraya!
    Amazing!

This is awesome. We already saw an all super sentai and kamen rider team-up, now it's the Metal Heroes turn!! This is great, the only thing that sucks is that I can't help but feel that maybe Toei should of made a separate movie highlighting the all metal hero team up. It just seems like this movie is going to suffer the same fate as the last one, with all these crazy but awesome team ups and crossover. It's going to another clusterf#4k of a movie. But hopefully the scans will show Decade and his story progressing.

  16. Anonymous Says:

Oh so those are metal hero (i only know gavaan/type g) so heres to hoping the movie is over 2hr long

    Whst's next? SentaixRiderxThe-Rest-of-the-Tokusatsu-Show-Toei-ever-produced, maybe?

  18. Kirtro Says:

Anyone else hear the Imperial March early on in the trailer?

  19. Anonymous Says:

Maybe many brazilian Tokusatsu fans are getting hyped about this notice

In those country,Jiraiya and Jiban are been broadcasted in the beginning of 90's,and the two programs gained biggest sucess like Juspion

  20. Anonymous Says:

    OMG B-figther \o/
I need to watch this movie

  21. Anonymous Says:

They should do a teamup with Ultraman.

  22. Retrosatsu Says:

They are speculating that these metal heroes with Gavan are actually the Gokaigers! This may justify the abscence of Juspion, Spielvan, Metalder and most metal heroes in this picture...
