During the idol group AKB48's concert at the Tokyo Dome, last August, it has been announced that member Minami Takahashi will be debuting as a solo artist. And now, it has been announced that the single will be released this April.
Entitled “Jane Doe”, it was used as the theme song for upcoming drama “Saki” starring Yukie Nakama. The image above is a preview of the song's music video, which is a ballad rock with the lyrics written from a man’s point of view that he can’t resist falling in love with one woman even after losing everything.
Reportedly, it will be released in three versions: CD+DVD TYPE A, B and C. Each comes with the music video, title and coupling tracks, and the third track being exclusive to each type. A special footage is also included in the DVD.
Minami Takahashi's “Jane Doe” will be released on April 3rd. Check out CDJapan's listings for pre-orders of this product.
