The official website for latest Ghost in the Shell: Arise anime project started streaming a new 36-second teaser. The series of films act as a prequel to the anime, featuring Motoko Kusanagi (CV: Maaya Sakamoto) when she was younger.
The project consists of four 50-minute anime films that will premiere in Japanese theaters on June 22nd, and will then be available on Blu-ray Disc and DVD at retail on July 26th. It will be produced by Production I.G, now with Kazuchika Kise as chief director and Tow Ubukata as head writer.
