The latest issue of Shonen Jump magazine reveals the additional cast list for MADHOUSE's 2011 anime adaptation of Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter × Hunter manga's Chimera Ant Arc. The new never-before-animated episodes/chapters will start airing starting next week.

The additional cast are as follows:

• Kouki Uchiyama as Chimera Ant King
• Ayumi Fujimura as Neferpitō
• Wataru Hatano as Shaiapouf
• Fumihiko Tachiki as Menthuthuyoupi
• Azusa Nakao as Zazan
• Kenji Nojima as Colt
• Daiki Nakamura as Welfin
• Nobuo Tobita as Meleoron
• Kikuko Inoue as Palm Siberia
• Wataru Takagi as Knuckle Bine
• Shinichiro Miki as Knov

It was previously announced that Shuunichi Ikeda (Mobile Suit Gundam's Char Aznable) will lend his voice to Kite. This will be the first time Kite will show up in MADHOUSE's anime adaptation, as some parts of the first few chapters from the manga were not animated, but was shown in Nippon Animation's adaptation.

In the Chimera Ant Arc, Kite has been hired by the country of Kakin to do ecological research as part of a biological survey, leading a team of seven kids aspiring to become Hunters. Gon, Killua, and his team ended up in NGL to exterminate the dangerous creatures.
