New Infinite Stratos Anime Coming Soon

Overlap, a production and publishing company, reveals in its promotional campaign that a new anime adaptation of Izuru Yumizuru's romantic comedy light novel series Infinite Stratos was green-lit! In addition, the light novel's 8th volume will be released this April 25th.

The announcement reads "Infinite Stratos: Production on a New TV Anime Green-Lit!" The first anime series that started airing last January 2011 follows the events in the light novel's 1st to 3rd volumes, with minor changes in the plot.

Infinite Stratos focuses on Ichika Orimura, who is discovered to be the first male to be able to pilot an IS, as only women can pilot it. He is then sent to the prestigious Infinite Stratos Academy—an international academy where IS pilots from all over the world are trained—where he meets Houki Shinonono, his childhood friend and younger sister of the creator of the IS.

I wonder if more new girls will fall in love with the main hero of the anime?

Well that sucks. That anime was so terribly bad, from the terrible story and terrible characters, to the terrible animation, terrible mecha designs, and the complete disregard for Gundam (which it blatantly ripped off).

And yet, this mess of a show is getting a sequel, but there are plenty of better things out there that will never get a sequel.

i personally liked this anime. i wasn't designed to be something special it was just to be entertaining. i think there is something wrong with people that want realism in there anime.
