Square Enix had announced that they will be releasing a Final Fantasy XIII-2 Digital Contents Selection for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this July in Japan. This version includes the main game and all downloadable content released.

The 5040 yen Final Fantasy XIII-2 Digital Contents Selection comes with the "Ultimate Hits" version of the game and all of the additional downloadable content released since its original release, this includes new costumes, weapons, episodes, and extra Colosseum enemies. Six "Lost Report" videos will also be included. The set of videos tell the story of the original Final Fantasy XIII game from the point of view of Rygdea and Yaag Rosch.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Digital Contents Selection will be released on July 18th. Additionally a "Ultimate Hits" budget edition of the game will also be released in Japan on the same date for 2940 yen.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set a few years after Lightning and the others saved Cocoon, some survivors have decided to start over by rebuilding on Gran Pulse. Lightning, however, is nowhere to be found and thought dead by many, but Serah believes otherwise. Along with a mysterious man named Noel, Serah set off to find out what has happened to Lightning.
