Kamen Rider Battride War PS3 Screens: Life is Showtime!

Dengeki Online had posted the latest batch of in-game screenshots for the first Kamen Rider game on PlayStation 3, Kamen Rider Battride War (仮面ライダー バトライド・ウォー). This time, it features Kamen Riders Wizard and Accel.

In Chronicle Mode, there are Memory Pods and Memory Tanks that you have to protect. There are certain areas where you need to break a Barrier Generator to access. In some other areas you have to make the Memory Energy go to zero by destroying all enemies.

Like what it was reported earlier on, stages are based in famous locations from the TV shows.

Kamen Rider Wizard can change "styles" freely, with all the "Dragon" forms attack only. Big, Extend, Bind, Light, and Defend Wizard Rings are present in game and can be accessible on certain styles.

Wizard's power-up form is Kamen Rider Wizard All Dragon, which have an access to all of the dragon form's abilities. Similar to other Kamen Riders, the final form can only be accessed within a certain period of time.

Meanwhile, here is Kamen Rider Accel. He can switch freely from Accel to Booster form. Throttling the handle bars can make you tougher, preventing enemy attacks. Accel's power-up is Kamen Rider Accel Trial, which can only be accessed for limited time.

Since Accel doesn't have a bike, he can transform to bike mode to move faster in the stage. And check out more in-game screens from the slideshow below:

Additionally, PlayStation Japan had revealed three more playable Kamen Riders: Kamen Riders Birth, Meteor and W Fang Joker. All of which are seen in the promotional videos. Kamen Rider Agito is also said to have access Ground, Storm and Blaze forms, with Trinity as a finisher only, and Shining as the timed power-up.

Kamen Rider Birth
can use the CLAWS system and with the power-up being the Birth Day Mode. Kamen Rider Meteor can use all of his three Meteor Galaxy skills. And, Kamen Rider W Fang Joker will also be a playable character.

Lastly, the release dates of Kamen Rider Wizard Infinity Style and Beast Hyper as DLC characters have been revealed. Report states that Wizard Infinity will be available on June 6th and Beast Hyper is slated for June 20th.

Kamen Rider Battride War features Chronicle Mode, where riders from Kuuga to Wizard fights against a horde of kaijins, revisiting famous places from the TV series, trying to regain their lost memories. It will also be featuring some of the original actors returning and voicing their respective roles.

Kamen Rider Battride War will be released this May 23rd for 7480 yen, and 10,480 yen for PREMIUM TV SOUND EDITION which include 30 songs from the works scheduled to be featured in the game (available until August 2013). Pre-order now at CDJapan and get exciting bonuses!

That's Flame Form for Agito, not Blaze.

    ...

Accel Booster? Someone catch me, I might faint.

No, I can't. Must first contemplate getting a PS3 just to play this.

So wait what happened to being able to use Beast Hyper and Wizard Infinity? I know I saw them in the trailer for this game. I really hope it's not DLC

  4. I think Beast Hyper and Wizard Infinity are DLC, but it's gonna be free...

You know what is borng about games these days??? EVERY-FUCKING-THING is about DLC!!! Anything and every they do to make the game more fun or to keep player playing it is done by DLCs!!! Come on!!

I miss that time when if you wanted your character to get a new outfit or some new power or special/secret weapon/armor you had to accomplish somekind of hard or secret mission/ quest, especific task, or beat a minigame, do some extra side quest, maybe do the right choices through the game's plot, anyway... THIS WAY GAMES WERE A LOT MORE CHALLENGING/DARING AND ENTERTAINING! Lot more fun!! ò_ó

Also, you had special dungeons/special game modes, new game + and all the stuff... EVERYTHING IN ONLY ONE FUCKING CD/DVD/GAME!! But now, you buy an INCOMPLETE PRODUCT, but of course, FOR THE FULL PRICE and then, pay a little more on the long run for "new" stuff!! (that in some cases, were already on your game disc, but were blocked... I't can't be!! no, it can't be true... I wonder who would do such a stupid and mercenary thing, right, Capcom??? ¬¬)

    >_<

So, after a lot of babbling and some stupid useless little rage attack.. LOL! XD
...My point is I really hope Hyper Beast and Infinty Style Wizard are not DLC... Please, game/bandai/koei/whoever is doing this game... Allow me to have that pleasant feeling of actually achieving something with my own game skills and effort!

Don't reward me for giving you money, or even give me everything the simple way so I will not have any hardship through the game, as from the start I can have all characters and powerfull final forms.

Finally, even if they make you pay for the two final forms or just give it for free, I still prefer the old way of getting special upgrades on games...

Anyway, I'm still dying to play this game, and I believe that they won't make big mistakes in this one! So, even the little ones won't be enough to make this game sucks! It's the thing all kamen riders fans dreamed of!!! (Specially those very found of musou/koei/hack n'slash games!!!

there was suppossed to be a dlc code for beast hyper form that comes with the premium tv sound edition from what ive heared.im also hoping the chronicle mode doesent get repetative like the mission modes in the kamen rider climax heroes games.

Welp. I may be the only one that feels this way but the possibility of DLC for Wizard and Beast is more or less a secondary worry for me. Concerns lie mostly in, though chances are it won't be incorporated into the game, some means of subbing. Do it in the styles of Warriors Orochi 3. Not a single bit of english dubbing, just subs, perhaps as a subtle nod to the Kamen Rider fans outside of Japan maybe.

Sure the more than likely lack of this feature won't stop a crap load of us from purchasing it but I for one would like to know what's going on in the story, which from the looks of it, is rearing up to be one hell of an original tale. Heck, I may be coming off as a bit desperate, but I'd have not a single complaint if in response to how many purchases of this was made outside of Japan, they'd release some kind of subbing DLC.

Looks like Bandai likes the PS3 better than some weird box with an X on it.
