Kodansha had revealed the plot details for the upcoming Kamen Rider Hibiki novel. Written by the series' writer, Tsuyoshi Kida, the novel will revolve around a different "Hibiki" who met the classic Ishinomori hero, Henshin Ninja Arashi.
The Kamen Rider Hibiki Novel will be set right after the end of the Warring States Era, just as the Edo Era begins. Hibiki and his clan are hiding in a small village while fighting the Makamou. But one day, he meets Hayate, a ninja fighting against the evil Chigurumatou clan. Is he a friend or an enemy...?!
This will be released on May 23rd, for 650 yen.

It would have been better if Hibiki had met Shurikenger.
And there went any hope for the novel...
Shurikenger and Hibiki are not in the same universe!
I really don't see what's the problem; so it isn't continuing the show or a rewrite. So what? Hibiki meeting Arashi is a dream come true for me. Not to mention Hayate/Arashi is a badass, go read the manga version to find out why!
it makes sense tho, all the ancient Toku heroes have only appeared in kamen Rider material. I really wanted Ninja Captor to go against a sentai
