What’s It Like Inside a Pokémon’s PokéBall

A PokéBall is the most important item to a Pokémon trainer. As seen in all Pokemon related media, a PokéBall can store one Pokemon at a time. But, have you ever wondered what is it inside a PokéBall?

Here's an interesting infographic on an artist's take on as to what happens to Pokémon once they’re inside the PokéBall:

QUOTED FROM THE MOTOVO BLOG:
Given the amount of time they spend cooped up inside a PokéBall, we have to imagine they’d want some amenities customized to their particular needs:
  • A shower — because battling is dirty work, and they’ll want to get cleaned up after getting sweaty from fighting
  • A television — for watching battles in progress so they’re up-to-speed when called into action
  • A bed — Pokémon may get healed at Pokémon Centers, but they still need to sleep
  • A treadmill and workout equipment — for staying in tip-top physical condition
  • A professional Poké-masseuse — for working out the kinks and aches that come with constantly battling opponents
  • A training room and practice dummies — so they can keep their attacks and strategies honed
  • A hot tub — for chilling with other Pokémon after a long week of fighting
  • Pictures of their trainer — Pokémon suffer from a sort of Stockholm syndrome, where they’re extremely loyal to the person who takes them captive
What’s more, the interior of our PokéBall would be customized to each individual Pokémon, with an ample supply food they like, imagery of their native environments, and even pools of water, grass, lava, or other native elements to bask in—the perfect respite from battle.

Do you want to customize your Pokémon's PokéBall to make them comfortable inside while waiting for the next gym battle? Contact Motovo now and they'll get the job done as soon as possible, of course for such an affordable price!

  1. I have a theory when you catch a pokemon it may pass days, weeks or years but for the pokemon inside the pokeball only a few seconds have passed example a day has passed since you capture the pokemon but for them only a second or a minute has passed if you recall some pokemon episodes the trainers lost their pokeballs with their pokemon and weeks have passed but the pokemon don't look hungry nor tired for them is just a few seconds

In the Pokemon Special universe, they use the "Physical size theory"

  3. if the ideal enviroment theory was true then they would regain health between battles

it's a teleportation device where you can transfer a Pokemon into a place like Pokemon Center in your town.I think it was mentioned in a very first anime episode where Professor Oak explained to Ash(sorry i haven't read the manga).

Not sure how accurate Viz actually is, but the back cover of the Pokemon Special Universe quote Satoshi Tajiri stating the Pokemon Special Universe is how he tried to portray things, so yeah on the "Physical size".

Look for an episode of Robot Chicken

I'm betting on the physical size theory. There was an episode from the original TV series where Misty catches a Psyduck (Or rather it catches itself) and the interior of the pokeball was shown as just being an empty, hollow shell with a small Psyduck just standing in the center of it, waiting to be let out.

Combine that theory with the physical size theory and I think that's correct. :P
