Earlier today, NHK's Professional Shigoto no Ryugi program, featuring Pokémon producer and CEO of The Pokémon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara, airs a sneak peek of the development of a new "top secret" Pikachu game. You can see one of its features in a screencap above.
Fans got a glimpse at what appears to be someone holding a magnifying glass to look at Pikachu on a Nintendo 3DS screen, and another part shows a motion-capture software to control the facial expressions of Pikachu. Accordingly, it is mentioned that Ishihara began production on the game this summer.
A clip of the segment can be seen at NHK's official website.
Nintendo had just recently released the sixth generation of their game franchise, Pokémon X & Pokémon Y for the Nintendo 3DS last October 12th, where your adventure takes place in the Kalos region, home to beautiful skies and forests! so this is the game that could potentially kill Pikachu's popularity
curious to see what it is.
Or it coult turn Pikachu into the next Woody. That facial expression shown is already creepy.
And there's the face of my nightmares for the next couple of nights...
