It has been announced that the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game inspired by Tadatoshi Fujimaki's basketball manga, Kuroko's Basketball: The Path to Victory, will be slated for February 20th, 2014 release. The game will feature an original story with characters in super deformed style.

Playable characters include Tetsuya Kuroko (Kensho Ono), Taiga Kagami (Yuuki Ono), Tatsuya Himuro (Kishô Taniyama), Makoto Hanamiya (Jun Fukuyama), Ryōta Kise (Ryohei Kimura), Shintarō Midorima (Daisuke Ono), Daiki Aomine (Junichi Suwabe), Atsushi Murasakibara (Kenichi Suzumura) and "Emperor" Seijūrō Akashi (Hiroshi Kamiya).
Kuroko's Basketball follows the story of Testuya Kuroko, the 6th member of the Generation of Miracles who's only good in passing the ball, who decided to become Taiga Kagami's shadow as they take on the other five members of the Generation of Miracles, one by one. The anime's second season, scheduled for 26 episodes, premiered last October 8th.
