The full trailer for the live action adaptation of the dark fantasy manga “Kuroshitsuji” (Black Butler) had finally been released! The movie stars Hiro Mizushima (Kamen Rider Kabuto) as Sebastian, and Ayame Gouriki (Gatchaman) as Shiori.
Set in the year 2020, more than 130 years after the original manga, at an Asian city where Western and Asian cultures freely intermingle, only males can take the reins of the Phantomhive family. To become the heir of the family, the young woman Shiori dons male clothes, and took the name Kiyoharu Genpō.
Additional cast members include Mizuki Yamamoto as the maid Lin, Yuka as Shiori's aunt Hanae, and fashion model Louis Kurihara as the undertaker Jay, with Masatô Ibu, Goro Kishitani, and Yuu Shirota.
Directed by Kentaro Otani (NANA) and anime creator Keiichi Sato (Tiger & Bunny), the “Black Butler” live action film premieres January 18th, 2014.
