Comic Natalie reports that in celebration of Naoko Takeuchi's classic shoujo manga Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon's 20th anniversary, a tribute album comprises of 10 tracks, covered by veteran and popular Japanese artists, will be released this January.
Initially announced artists included in the tribute album are self-professed anime otaku Shoko Nakagawa, idol group Momoiro Clover Z, and the "queen of anime song" Mitsuko Horie. Titles of the tracks and additional cover artists will be revealed in a later date.
The Sailor Moon tribute album will be released on January 29th, 2014 and will be available for 3000 yen. Meanwhile, the new anime is slated to premiere this Winter, and will be available for worldwide streaming in 10 different subtitled languages.
