Godzilla 2014 Official Movie Trailer


After all the leaks and take downs, the first full trailer for the upcoming 2014 reboot on the Godzilla movie had been officially released. The film is said to "return the character to its epic roots with a gritty, realistic actioner."


The cast members include Aaron-Taylor Johnson (Kick-Ass), Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene, Oldboy), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Argo), Juliette Binoche (The English Patient, Chocolat), David Strathairn (Lincoln, The Bourne Ultimatum), and Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Letters to Iwo Jima, Memoirs of a Geisha).

Directed by Britsh indie director Gareth Edwards (Monsters), Godzilla is scheduled to premiere on May 16th, 2014.

    Looks promising. It's just a damn shame we don't see Godzilla portrayed in a suit. It's a cgi. But it's an American film what can you do. Hopefully the MONSTER battles will be good. Don't let me down Garrett, we waited 5 years for this damn film to be made.

    Godzilla in a suit? There was a time where that worked, today it would look silly. He looks awesome.

    I love Pacific Rim's approach -- sure, the monsters were CGI, but they were designed to look like they could be wearable suits, not just for that classic feel, but if there was ever a need to construct a suit, they'd already have the blueprints.
