3rd Behind the Scenes Footage of Lightning Returns


The third behind-the-scenes footage of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII PlayStation 3 game has begun streaming last Tuesday through the Square Enix North America. Ali Hillis, Lightning's English voice actress narrates the video featuring English-subtitled interviews with some of the game's staff. The first behind-the-scenes footage was posted in August then the second in December.



The final chapter in Lightning's saga takes place as the world is about to end and Lighting has 13 days to save it. Can Lightning save the world before everyone face their imminent doom?



Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is slated to be released on November 21st in Japan for 7770 yen, in North America on February 11th, 2014, and Europe on February 14th, for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. In line with that, its release in both US and Europe also features the original Japanese audio track and free DLC for the first two weeks after the game ships.

The English release will include an 80-page hardcover Collector's Edition artbook, a silver embossed pocket watch, and a DLC code for an Aerith's "Midgar Flower Vendor" costume for Lightning. Moreover, those who pre-orders the game in North America and Europe would be able to unlock and use Cloud's "Soldier 1st" costume and buster sword as Lightning's epuipment. But it doesn't end there! Lightning can also use various costumes such Yuna's "Sphere Hunter" from Final Fantasy X and different samurai ones, in addition to that, there's also Miqo'te's rom Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn with shields and motifs from the game's three city-states: Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, and Ul'dah.
