To be aired in TV Tokyo is the new series of America's popular cartoon "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" starting on April 4th and GReeeeN's song "Shinobi" was revealed to be used as the Japanese-dubbed version's opening theme.
"Shinobi" is a new song with the theme and literally termed "ninja" and it was written especially for the animated series. Regarding the song, the members commented, "We loved the Turtles and watched it often when we were in elementary school. It is such an honor to take part in it! In the opening theme 'Shinobi', we mixed together the Turtles' 'cool ninja and American' with the atmosphere unique to Japan. We made it a serious battle between the 4 Turtles and the 4 members of GReeeeN! Whose 'green' is stronger?? We would like to settle it!!"
