J-Stars Victory Vs. Game Videos Shows Off Gon, Koro-sensei, Bo-bobo, and Luckyman


On Monday, Namco Bandai Games started to stream four more character gameplay videos as well as the fourth commercial for the J-Stars Victory Vs. game "team battle action". The following videos show four of our playable characters such as Gon Freecss from Hunter x Hunter, Koro-sensei from Assassination Classroom, and the title characters from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo and Tottemo! Luckyman.

The fourth commercial consists of the "Strongest Tag Team" which features the "once-in-a-45-years dream matches" namely: the inheritors of D's will (Luffy and Ace from One Piece), the inheritors of the North Star's Two-Millennium Destiny (Kenshirō and Raoh from Fist of the North Star), and the inheritors of pride (Jonathan and Joseph Joestar from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure).

The game's theme song "Fighting Stars" would be sang by Kageyama Hironobu, Kushida Akira and Kitadani Hiroshi. A free augmented-reality (AR) lets you see the Jump heroes in your surroundings in the PS Vita. The game include stages from One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Toriko, Naruto Shippūden, Yū Yū Hakusho, Bleach, Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo, Gintama, Saint Seiya, and Dr. Slump & Arale-chan.



"J Battle Festival, a dream festival that happens once in 45 years," will assemble heroes who exemplify friendship, hard work, and victory. The game supports 2 vs. 2 team battles in dream matches that crosses the borders between titles. Players can unleash combination attacks never possible until now, some with the help of support characters.

One of the game's feature is the Adventure Mode wherein players assemble characters and go on a voyage throughout the "Jump World" using a ship. There's also the "J-Points" for cards in battles and adventures in which the characters collect. These cards are used as a deck to level up their characters and ships.

On March 19, the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita game will be released. The regular edition of the PS3 version costs 7,980 yen or about $80 USD, while the limited edition costs 10,980 yen or $110 USD. The regular edition of the PS Vita version costs 6,980 yen and the limited edition will be available for 9,980 yen or about $100 USD.

Pre-order of the game would include a J-Stars Victory Book, a Jump Comics-like book with information and visuals of Jump heroes over the years. An "Ani-Son Sound Edition" of the game will let the players to listen to 21 television anime theme songs in the game for a limited time.
