In the upcoming 22nd Crayon Shin-chan film Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Gachinko! Gyakushu no Robo To-chan (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Fight! Robo-Dad's Counterattack), singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu contributes her new song "Family Party".
Since October 2012, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu had sung the anime's opening theme but this would be her first time singing for a movie which happened to be another project from the Crayon Shin-chan franchise.
According to the singer herself, she's a huge fan of Crayon Shin-chan. In fact, she admitted that she has all the original manga volumes and anime films as they were released. Being thrilled to sing for the film, she added that everyone would enjoy the song.
The latest Shin-chan movie revolves around his father who goes for a massage in order to fix his sprained back then returns home as a robot, decribed as "with a snort more powerful than an electric fan!" Added t that, the film is said to be featuring the series' first "battle of dads."
Narrator: In the year 2014, the "father revolution" breaks out throughout the land. In these troubled times, this man will rise.

Live-action Rurouni Kenshin's Kamiya Kaoru, Takei Emi will be having her first voice-acting role in this upcoming Crayon Shin-chan film as Dandanbara Teruyo, a police woman who causes trouble at the station with her eagerness to become a detective. And talent star Crocket will also render his voice, for the second time in a Shin-chan film, for the character of Hakase Gamma, a world-famous robotic expert.
A unit director of many previous Crayon Shin-chan films by the name of Takahashi Wataru is in-charge of this new one with the screenplay written by Nakashima Kazuki (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill). The opening of the film is scheduled on April 19th, 2014. Then, the CD Single release would be on April 16th.
