You apoligist are really running out of lame brain excuses on why Gokaiger did EVERYTHING right and why haha lol Super Mega Farce did EVERYTHING wrong. Pirate meaning a copy of an original which they state in the bloody Goseiger vs Shinkenger movie and in the first episode. Marvelous never gave any intentions that he actually gave a damn about being a hero of any kind. Tzachor had a golden opportunity and he fucked it up. It really is that simple. Troy is a terrible red ranger let alone leader of team that is suppose to honor 20 years of Power Rangers. Your in the minority dude. It's statements like that is why the quality of shows has diminished considerably.

Yeah I can see how they dropped the Pirate theme especially with the Pirate ship that transforms into a giant pirate. Also with the pirate emblems on the helmets and morphers. But nothing is a near as bad as changing black to green with completely different fighting styles with absolutely no explanation at all. Yeah because that makes sense. FLASHMAN!!!!!!!!!

Let's not forget that weird and lazy route of inserting teams that kids have never seen before, thereby negating any sort of sentiment and memory that's supposed to come from a nostalgic anniversary season. Hello numbnuts, it's tributing the stupidity that is power rangers rather than bullshit it's way into pretending any of its season were more than just generic story plots with stock footage slapped around here and there. Gokaiger ried to hard to make it seem like super sentai meant more than just selling over priced to American weeboos who do stupid shit like watch American anime dubbed in Japanese with English subs because the actors are better. Truthfully megafirce its garbage but it's honest to the fact that power ranger has always been cheesy and silly with some serious undertones, even rpm managed to be hilariously stupid at times.
Rather than bullshit about how mighty morphin was about friendship, and turbo was about growing up, and in space was about not fucking aliens like gokaiger did with every tribute episode. It's just about kicking ass and summoning your megazord with a theme that makes no sense.
All the "new" powers is Sabans tribute to super sentai, that's why we get scenes of the mega force rangers as the kosoku sentai turbo ranger when they morph into wild force rangers, or why the morph into dairanger, flashman, and maskman. It's to keep the sentai purists excited like when they dubbed an abaranger episode in Dino thunder.
Now quit bitching and let me enjoy my cheesy tribute to the original power rangers.
