Bandai Namco Games has unveiled their newest arcade game, Star Wars Battle Pod, that bears significant hardware similarities to the previous Namco-distributed Mobile Suit Gundam P.O.D. games.
P.O.D. stands for Panoramic Optical Display, a distinctive curved play field that wraps around the pilot which was used on Mobile Suit Gundam: Bonds of the battlefield . This new Star Wars arcade game was unveiled in this years NYCC and will be released in the US on January 2015.
