Shuriken Sentai Ninninger: Introducing Shurikenjin!

Check-out these first batch of new magazine scans featuring the Ninninger team's main mecha, Shuriken Gattai Shurikenjin.

To start everything, the Ninninger mechas are called Otomo Nin. To summon their respective Otomo Nin's, the team uses their Otomo Nin Shuriken.

To even up the odds, the five Otomo Nin can also combine to form one giant mecha, Shurikenjin. It can also transform into a alternate form called the Shurikenjin Drago.

why do I have the feeling that shinobimaru is going to act as a "pilot" of Shurikenjin like its a powersuit akin to that old american cartoon Exo-force? has anyone actually noticed in one image that one of Shinobimaru's legs is LOWER than the other?

The one thing still keeping me on the fence about this show, is the mecha. It looks... weird, and it looks even weirder as a toy/action figure. Especially the way Shinobimaru sits inside a throne thingy, surely they can think of a more ninja-like design? They should've gone with all animals for the limbs as well. The dragon and dog is okay, but the train? Hmmm...

It's been a pattern every year with somebody that doesn't like the mecha... I like it as it's "outside the box" being something that we've never seen before. If you leave it to the fandom, they'd have the same design 3 years in a row because it looks "good".

If it isn't about Shinobimaru sitting on a throne, it'd be something else about the mecha. I like the fact that Shinobimaru is "piloting" the mecha like a ranger would. That's epic imo. - Buy Video Games for Consoles and PC - From Japan, Korea and other Regions
