And new image from the final Shuriken Sentai Ninninger toy catalog has surfaced giving us a look the newest weapon that the ninja team will receive.
Introducing the Ninja Gekiatsugatana or better known as the Best Shinobigatana. The team will receive this new weapon along with the Gekiatsu-Daioh. This re-designed Shinobigatana also comes with a new Nin-shuriken that represents the six Ninninger symbols.
Set for a November 2015 release, the DX Gekiatsugatana will cost 4.980 yen.

This series was so god damn boring. Every time I see an article about them I just shake me head. Such waisted potential
I'll be honest, I gotta agree with you there.
Hopefully the next series will be better.
I found this series to be only ok. i know someone who watches and draws a big complaint that the inclusion of starninja as a cowboy and the other non full on ninja based elements makes this not a true ninja season. I may not agree, but i do when they say that this team didn't work to earn power ups like some other season. they just showed up without rhyme or reason and they suddenly could use them right. they are supposed to be students but all the learning is happing more off camera then on. also hope this new sword brings a form for the team that works well.
Somehow this season feels weaker than Power Rangers Samurai, and stronger than Megaforce (With super seasons included).
If any season should be adapted for Power rangers, I'd want ToQGer over this one, but if we get this one, let's hope Neo Saban can do this season better than how the Sentai is doing.
my problem with the season is that everyone except for Takaharu have become useless the moment he got a power up.
By "team", you mean Takaharu, right? And I have to echo what has already been said; this season is absolutely dreadful. I have no attachments to any of the characters. At all. I especially dislike Takaharu, his character (and actor!) are both so flat! Every scene with him I just find myself rolling my eyes and hoping for the camera to be on someone else. Seriously getting bored with Red Ranger circle jerk too. What was even the last series to treat the team equally? (Gokaiger is what comes to mind for me... Others?) I thought this was SENTAI! A team! At this rate Drive has better teamwork and synergy than this show. I just wanted to vent, haha.
Starninger is soon to get Chozetsu too, and Aoninger was accepted to use it, but declined.
Remember, Carranger was intended to be a parody of Turborangers.
I need a sentai with deep relationship, emotion, and conflict like shinkenger...

I slept through this series also, mainly because it was another ninja retread but also because it was boring. I DO hope that if/when it is adapted as a Power Rangers series, the casting directors will FINALLY cast an Asian Red Ranger (Amit Bhaumik's proposal for Samurai had an Asian Red Ranger ftr).
