When everything in this show gets less interesting, the producers decide to fire it up as next month, things will heat-up for this ninja team. Revenge, girlfriends, more ninjas and Kyuuemon's past are scheduled for September.
Tomorrow, Starninger will finally get his much awaited revenge against the last of the western Yokai, Ookamiotoko, as he transcends into Starninger Chozetsu!
Next month will also mark the debut of 2 new ninjas: the first one is Koyama Kikyo (portrayed by Chihiro Yamamoto) who will become Takaharu's girlfriend, but her master, Iseki Rock (Ryoma baba a.k.a Blue Buster/Space Sheriff Estevan) does not approved of this because he is also in love with her.
As for Kyuuemon's origin, it turns out that he once wanted to be the Last Ninja's disciple but was denied of the End Shuriken thus betraying his master.
And finally, as part of his plan, Kyuuemon creates his own group of loyal Dark Ninja disciples using the Core gears. They will utilize Izayoi-style Shurikens and they will consist of "Speed Ninja" Falcon, "Puppet Ninja" Black Ant, "Substitution Ninja" Badger, "Very Strong Ninja" One-horned Rhino, and a mecha called Kyuubi.

Oh look, one dimensional Takaharu gets a girlfriend now. Straws. Still. Out of REACH! The Kyueemon Force seems interesting, but I know they'll find a way to make it dull. Like Takaharu, or Starninger being the only two that kills them all, while the rest of the team watches in amazement. Sigh... I so totally see it coming. Shout outs to Blue Buster though. Don't care what anyone says, I enjoyed Gobusters. Especially Enter, hands down one of my favorite villians.
So let me get this straight, Koyama is purple Murasakininger, Iseki is black Kuroninger and Kyuuemon is green Midorininger

You're thinking about the digimon that was female. Plus it doesn't matter to toei if the monster form is female they will still give it a male human form. Just look at Virgo from Fourze
To whoever is producing Ninninger: Why the absolute focus on Red? Why are you trying so hard to make him relevant? Why can't you make the girl be Nagi's girlfriend (Or even Fuuka or Kasumi, if you're into PC)? Why it has to be Takaharu?
At this rate it's obvious that Takaharu is the only one who gets to be the Last Ninja.

The disappointing reveal for me would be Kyuuemon tho. Was hoping that character to be a female and that her I mean HIS seiyuu Megumi Han would play her human look too... :(

Was hoping something like that but the toyline already reveal that there won't be any new members for the team. Meh.
Unbelievable Toei. First you say Medic is evil because she absorbed negative emotions from other roidmudes, and now you're saying Kyuemon was actually a guy all along...what the fuck? Would it absolutely kill you to just have one good female villain, FOR ONCE???!!!
This is not the first time Toei doing this crappy plot twist. Remember Virgo Horoscope from KR Fourze? Misogyny guys?
^Actually, I thought the Virgo twist was alright, mainly because it made sense in context. Before hand, we had a male-sounding commander zodiarts that turned out to be female (Scorpio), and long after, it was established that zodiarts forms are gender-neutral. Plus, no one in the show ever made a stupid comment about Emoto having a feminine monster form, and he clearly didn't seem to mind since it made him powerful. So really, it was more anti-misogyny. Plus, Emoto being Virgo made sense plotwise because Virgo was the most loyal commander and Emoto was Gamou's oldest associate.
The Kyuuemon twist, on the other hand, does not make sense in context, because the yokai have clearly defined genders. Plus, it was interesting to see two female generals with one not being treated as a usual female antagonist. To say later that she is (or was) actually a boy all along is way out of left field and does not contribute significantly to the plot at all.
Please, my friends, don't you dare to start asking Kyuuemon to revert into human form and become Midoninger.
Kyuuemon was never said to be a female at any time during the series . Any time he's been spoken to it's been in a general way or with his name . There's actually more evidence that Kyuuemon was a male scattered thru out the show already . & do you really think old stubborn Ji-chan would mentor a woman ?
You guys acted like you haven't see a feminine guy before. Also seriously, to those people who said Kyuuemon had some sort of romance with any of the male character was a lie. It was some stupid fan shipping people made up. Kyuuemon's gender was never mention. It was toward Over-Time subtitles and appearance that made you think Kyuuemon was female. If you guys understand Japanese, usually the Ninninger refer Kyuuemon in a third person neutral pronoun that has no English equivalent. The people who do the subtitles had put to a pronoun in there to make the translation seem more natural. Even the actress who voice Kyuuemon, didn't really know Kyuuemon's gender, but actually did refer Kyuuemon as a male.

Yes, I'm just as disappointed that Toei still haven't made female villain that is truly intimidating. Have to admit Medic was actually close, but they degraded her and turn her into a puppet.
As for Kyuuemon, I actually don't mind Kyuuemon being a male. At least, I can picture the actress who play Kyuuemon being cunning and evil.
But if Toei had made her a female human, they could have made the drama of her being Taka, and Fuuka's mother. I think the only interesting female villain has been Grandiene from GoGo-V, because she was ruthless, and didn't care for her own children... but she was also eliminated before the finale. It was the closest to having a fuckin' good main and final Sentai female villain.
kyuuemon is kinda like orochimaru who is actually live in a girl's body at his first appearance.. also with the rope knot ribbon thingy on his back also resembles kyuuemon and her his character as a former deciple of a great ninja also resembles orochimaru
