Today January 30, Enka singer and AKB48 member Misaki Iwasa (21) celebrates her birthday and graduation from the idol group AKB48 by holding her first solo concert at Asakusa Public Hall in Tokyo. The idol has announced her graduation since last year to take effect today  so she can focus on her Enka career.

The concert ended with Iwasa announcing, "From now on I will need to borrow everyone's power so I can continue to fullfill a lot of dreams.  I want to be strict to myself,  now  that I have decided, I Misaki Iwasa is graduating from AKB48." The resounding crowd of 1000 spectators were moved into tears while Iwasaki, filled with tears, announces her graduation message for her audience.





Iwasa joined AKB48 as a Kenkyuusei on December, 2008. Ending her term with the group as a member of Team B.
