JEFusion opens its doors to cosplayers all over the globe with JEFusion's very own cosplay feature; Cosplayer of the Week. Once a week we will be featuring cosplayers on the blog and learn more about the cosplayer than who they are cosplaying. To all cosplayers, this is your stage!

Before we start... What is Cosplay?

Cosplay is a contraction of the words costume and play. It is a performance art in which participants called cosplayers wear costumes and fashion accessories to represent a specific character. To read more about the portmanteau read it's wiki page to know more about cosplay.

Details on how to become a featured cosplayer is at the end of this post, but don't just skip to the bottom, hear what our first cosplay feature Karlonne Santos has to say.

Karlonne Santos

Karlone, or Karlonne Anthony DG Santos, at the age of 31 is a graphic designer and has been cosplaying since April of 2000 up to the present. If you remembered, he cosplayed the civilian form of Red Mask on Henshincon's commercial last year.

According to Karlonne he is a simple person enjoying the hobby. Most of his time is dedicated in graphic designing for cosplays of other cosplayers. Sometimes he does video shoot and plays video games. He also helps on organizing events, private shoots and parties.

Here is a few of Karlonnes's cosplay:
