Kamen Rider EX-Aid - First Terebi Magazine Scans

This is it! The first Terebi magazine scans featuring the next Kamen Rider hero who will fight on the side of justice is finally here! Terebi Magazine introduces all of you to Kamen Rider EX-Aid!

The Mighty Action X Gashat is siad to be a forbidden game that was developed years ago. This will be essential to EX-Aid's transformation, attacks and finishing moves.

Kamen Rider EX-Aid Action Gamer will have 2 forms at the start and that is the Action Gamer Level 1 which will power-up into Action Gamer Level 2.

As EX-Aid Action Gamer Level 1, EX-Aid will have a super deformed appearance and the ability to perform separation surgery on people that are infected by the Bugstar. When pulling the lever on the Gamer Driver, EX-Aid will level-up into his Action Gamer Level 2, his default fighting form (that looks closely like Fighter Roar with a mix of Tracer from Overwatch).

Is this really a good idea? Wasn't it something like this that killed Metal Heroes

This can't be worse than Ghost!

    In my opinion:

    WORST... RIDER SUIT.... EEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

(And I thought Drive's Type Speed was worse.)

  4. Anonymous Says:

Not another gimmicky victim of the week comedy series.

  5. Anonymous Says:

Face it guys, we'll never have another Gaim. I think it's time we lowered our expectations a little bit, because a really fantastic series with amazing characters all around was a treat. It's not a common thing, though we may hope and wish.

  6. Anonymous Says:

I'm a little confused... Is that mini avatar thing Ex-Aid himself, or is there an actual human that will use the Gamer Driver?

  7. dhathor Says:

I imagine that he will cast off from Level 1 to Level 2 ala-Kabuto.

I better hope the story will be good, though. How about getting either Naruhisa Arakawa or Gen Urobochi for this?

  8. Sunny Says:

It's too repulsive. Who would want to become a rider like this?

  9. When he reaches level 99 he becomes a real Kamen Rider

  10. Unknown Says:

I love this series already! Game on!!

  11. Unknown Says:

So remember when everyone was talking shit about Gaim and then when it came out it was one of the best Rider series to date? Or when Drive came out everyone was talking mad shit and it turned out to be amazing? Or with Fourze when everyone was talking about how stupid he looked and then it came out and everone was all over Gentarou's dick?

Same thing here. Everyone talking all this mad shit, and then it's gonna come out and it's gonna be the bomb. I for one, dig the new direction they're going with the suit.

  12. Anonymous Says:

OK we get it! "bah, blah, blah, we get it! you hate Ghost Blah, Blah, Blah! bad suit design. how about some comments that i have not seen over and over again which i can guess are the same damn people. this fandom dose not need people who are always negative and do not look at the good and the bad of what is offered.

  13. Man, I don't even know what to say. It's like they're trying to combine something from one of the seasons in metal hero where one of the robots had a cute chibi form but they could transform into warrior (I can't remember what the show is called.) The last time I saw a toku doing something like that was goseiger with Datas. They seem to put Kabuto vibes here where the default form is second form and the first is this more big bulky one, but this one took that form right out from one of those seasons from metal hero.

Sigh, this show might be childish. I mean apart from his eyes, hair and colour his form looks to "cute" it's like for teletubies.I am trying hardnot to judge I hope I'm wrong and the concept is kind of cool but from how it looks? I... I'll wait and see.

  14. Unknown Says:

In that second Picture looks like Gamer lvl. 1 is touching himself lol

My god this looks awful..... And I thought Fourze's design was bad

  15. Guys, this is the end of Kamen Rider...RIP KR, The last true Rider is Ghost, which is the Ghost of Kamen Rider's Past...

  16. TrueZero2 Says:

Gamer Level 1, it's a little offputting that they're doing a mode that Chibified.

Gamer Level 2, it could have done with being a little less garish, but what the hey, 90's Rider. So long as it looks good when moving, I'll give it a shake.

To be honest, the designs across the season as a whole are pretty odd.
Brave's currently my favourite. It takes the design gimmick of the season and does it well.
Snipe and his emo hair are just 'No' for me.
Genbu's a Palette Swap in all the best ways.
Ex-Aid, as mentioned previously, just needs the colours toned down a bit.
Racer meanwhile is going to be interesting, because his normal state is his Bike, and he pulls an Auto Vajin to fight as a rider.

  17. dukemum Says:

Impressive Toei! Great job, your newest rider design is amazing, its killing off your, franchises now, almost soon... Hibiki looked way bettee now.....

Well, just hope things get better after its run... Story, plot must be good to make up the designs....

  18. Anonymous Says:

ok it's time to skip, this is just stupid, i don't care how good the story is, but this is not the kamen rider that i know, looking forward to 2017-2018 rider

It's a strange look and feel with what I've come to love about Kamen Rider but I hope it pulls a Drive and really blows me away. It's a bit of a jump but it may be a mind blowing experience like the later Drive episodes. I'm keeping an open mind and saving all my judgements till I see him in action.

I'm not hating on this Rider but they are now more focusing on making toys than making a great storyline or developing an interesting personality of the characters.

You fucking apologist piss me the hell off. Ghost sucks I think after 40+ episodes it's safe to say that we have a pretty good indicator that the series is terrible. If anyone wants to say it's shit then so be it. We go through this shit every year. We will never have another Gaim. Period! To me personally, Ghost is on my top 5 list of worst rider shows. Terrible, follow-up to Drive. And Drive had very big shoes to fill and it did. I don't have much hope for this new Rider series. Gaim had Gen. So initially feelings that I had towards the plot and theme and were gone the minute I heard Gen was penning the script. They are probably going to have some hack from ToQger or Goseiger to write this series. Either or so far I am not impressed and the bar has been set extremely low now.

We're not complaining about the series. We're complaining about the suit design. Although we should wait to see how the series holds up, it doesn't limit us to express our feelings about the rider suit. If people like it, then let them like it. If not (like me), then leave them be.

  25. Anonymous Says:

People complaining about childish concepts and stories

    Series is geared for kids

But sure everyone just keep praying for another depression 'o' rama story like Gaim, I for one welcome our second pink rider with open arms.

I can see Ex-Aid using level 1 for the first couple episodes(1-5 or 6) but not the entire series though now that I think about ex-aid saving someone from the Bugstars is like Wizard where he used the engage ring to stop the persons inner phantoms. So I can imagine Ex-Aid using level 1 like that. Plus I like the design for Ex-Aid and I'm tired of hearing the same " Another Shitty Rider Season" or " Worst Rider suit ever" comments .

It hasn't even started yet and it's getting hate, For god sakes people give it a chance before you start judging it

  28. Anonymous Says:

I personally think it looks great, it reminds me of 90's games and toys, they used to advertise things more extremely and colorful back then to appeal to kids, i also learned to not judge how a series is going to be based on what the rider's suit looks like (Wizard's suit looks the best of them all and look at how the show turned out :( )

Also, nothing that's been shown so far points out that the series is going to be a comedy or a light-hearted comedy, where the hell are you guys getting that idea from? just because the suit looks ridiculous?, if anything i could only guess this is going to be the Go-busters of kamen rider and even then there's still a big chance i'm wrong, also i think it's a good idea the level 1 and 2 suits aren't all that impressive, that way we won't be disappointed by the power-up forms, Kamen Rider breaks the mold every time and that's what makes the series so great.

  29. Anonymous Says:

So we'll never have another KR series about breakdancing children?

    Thank God.

  30. Anonymous Says:

Despite all the chatter here, we seem to have missed something -

The name of the enemy force ("Bugstar") and that it infects people. Our first bit of info on the villans, ENTIRELY missed.

Also, a trend I've seen lately - after Go-Busters, Sentai seems to be more comedy and gimmick (sadly), while Rider series tend to be darker and more plot-focused. So... Those who think this'll be a gimmicky comedy, I think you should compare the past few years of Rider and Sentai series.

  31. Anonymous Says:

Everyones complaining that its not as good as Gaim and blah blah blah. I honestly think Gaim sucked a fat one, and I got bored after episode 10.

  32. Unknown Says:

Wow.... though it looks Metal Hero-ish, ain't it look like a B-Daman?

Anyone still have B-Daman? No? Okay then... T_T

I agree with you. The Kamen Rider franchise is going downhill very, very quickly. There were some seasons where characters had mental and physical challenges that not only pushed their limits, but advanced the story (ex: OOO, Gaim, Wizard, and even Drive). But now, it seems as if Toei (the company that owns the franchise) doesn't want to input that same energy anymore. One of the main reasons is budgeting. Making suits, filming different locations, and even drama costs money. Take Gaim for an example. (Spoiler alert for all readers!) Assuming that you had watched the season, Kouta's Overlord form contained the armor outfit from the Kiwami Arms costume (without the fruit breastplate, and the helmet), and changed his hair form black to blonde. Obviously, the production crew could've created a better looking design for Kouta's final form. However, since they've filmed in various locations, produced a variety of costumes, and had a very advanced plot (in my opinion), I wouldn't be surprised if the crew chose a simplified version of Kouta's Overlord state. Looking at the season in general, it seemed as if they wanted to do more that just put a blonde wig on Kouta's head, and add the Kiwami Arms' armor and a cape that was probably created from a curtain fabric. But, their time ran short, and they had to simplify the final pieces so that Toei would have enough money for the next season (Kamen Rider Drive). Even when making a good KR show, it seems that money will always be their number one enemy.

Another issue to the fall of the franchise is due to the lack of good writing. This is somewhat of my opinion; and based from your comment, you could agree with me on this one. Forty-five years is a long time, and that means children are seeing better stuff (ex: Adventure Time, Regular Show, etc). However, when it comes to shows, like Kamen Rider Ghost, children are expecting it to be cool and challenging. Most of the time, the acting isn't at all convincing, the motifs aren't good, the plot has loose ends, or a member(s) of the crew aren't putting enough effort into the series. One thing is for sure, these issues reflect a backward trend for the franchise. Even if money is an issue, production teams can still manage to create a better story, and get the results they've wanted (ex: Gaim, Drive, Wizard, and Fourze).

In short, it's true that we will never have another Gaim. We'll have to wait and see what the plot of this new season will be, but you don't have to watch it. As of now, things aren't looking good for the franchise.

Well kamen rider is for kids tough
    Also do you mean robotaku?

  39. I miss stories like those of Faiz and Blade... Something more darker yet there were still some humor and light hearted scenes. KR series is becoming more and more childish (No, I know this franchise targets children but... ) that writing the story is affected.

  40. Anonymous Says:

Well, at least there's Kamen Rider Amazons (the remake), which is obviously the more superior series.

Though only good for 13 episodes (and a second season in 2017), the pacing of the story is good, storyline is quite dark, and the suits look awesome.

Keep yours wide open cause mine won't ever opened. Not for fourze, not for drive, not for ghost and not for this band aid.
